History

Established in 1997.

I (Mary) bought Scizzors in 1997. The previous owner owned it for 10 years. Before that it was another Beauty shop for 15 years. I have owned it for 16 years. My staff has been with me for a good part of that time. We pride ourselves on everyone being comfortable in this shop.

I have been a Hairdresser for 34 years. I love to continually learn new ways to color, perm, cut and style hair. I have done shampoo sets to foils and back again. I love changing a person to update them or simply to help them clean up their existing look. My husband and I have been married for 35 years and we raised our two boys in Lafayette. Now we have 4 wonderful grandchildren that live close to us. I love working, and living in this community.
