He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Professional affiliations include memberships in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute, and the Financial Analyst Societies of New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

Mr. Schroeder is President and Chief Investment Officer of Schroeder Capital Management, LLC, in Lafayette, California.

Mr. Schroeder had been Senior Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer, and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Van Kasper Advisers, prior to its sale to Schroeder Capital Management, LLC. He was responsible for all domestic and international separate account portfolio management, investment strategy, research, and marketing. Mr. Schroeder has over 30 years experience managing portfolios, formulating investment strategies, conducting fundamental research, and marketing.

Mr. Schroeder is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). A graduate of the San Jose State University School of Business, he is an SEC registered investment advisor (RIA), and holds various NASD licenses. Schroeder is also a member of the CFA Institute, and the Financial Analyst Societies of New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
