History

Established in 2011.

Lucid Chi, a short history, but this quaint Bodywork/​Muscle Therapy Studio has been though quite a bit in a short amount of time; just like most of it’s individuals & clients who’ve been drawn to the charming healing shop. Renee Outlaw, Owner, CMT, Health Educator watched the shop & clients grow & heal from traveling to «In~home/office» visits, to many large/​small events & to the 1^st location: Golden Gate way for 3yrs to a new larger location in Sept. 2014. The ground floor studio of Lucid Chi has great energy, that’s Neutral to anything going on in our inner & outer worlds. The combination of Modalities (Eastern & Western, have been married & now form this special safe space.

Business Owner

Growing up in an athletic, positive family was what set Renee’s path. On Sundays her family would spend time on the lake and waterski or enjoy other outdoor activities. This was Renee’s church as nature and family kept her grounded. A competitive gymnast her entire adolescent life gave Renee an understanding of the human body. At eight, she’d seen her first chiropractor for a pinched nerve. This is how the importance of healing entered in to her awareness. A sad goodbye to gym, the decision was made to heal a deep Quad tear barley allowing her to walk. By week three, she was tumbling as a competitive cheerleader & flyer. She rediscovered injury & pain, so pursuing a degree in Sports Science/​Med BS was only natural way to go. It wasn’t until her Rotator cuff surgery that a light went off. It was then Renee knew she needed to pursue her passion in massage and teaching others how to heal naturally.
