Lam’s Nail & Spa is the newest salon in the city of Lafayette, IN. Salon is spacious and fume-​free. Salon has 12 state-​of-​the-​art ventilated manicure tables and 10 massage spa pedicure chairs with children’s accommodation, along with an extensive sterilization and sanitation area. Also, a private waxing room is installed for patron’s privacy.

So I really wanted to start getting acrylic nails and get a fill every few weeks (hoping they last that long for me) because my natural nails are thin and are very difficult to grow. I chose this place because it seemed the most well loved. The woman was very careful, and first shaped it to be square and I asked her to round it out a little and she did. Next time I want to try an almond or oval shape if I can. My right thumb nail is a bit crooked but I don’t really mind. The colour selection was great. I’ll be going back in a few weeks.

Best manicure I think I’ve ever had! I get acrylic nails, and typically places won’t get them as short as I like, but they cut and file them exactly like I want! Very clean, friendly atmosphere.

Everyone there was so sweet and did such a good job! They made sure my nails looked perfect before I left there. One nail was kind of stuck to my skin from the gel polish and I told them it was ok that it would fix itself and she insisted that she fixed it before I left. I also asked for 2 coats of polish because I’m washing my hands constantly with my job and they did it with no problem. They also did not push anything or even ask you to have extra things, they just let you relax. And their massages will put you to sleep! Also, I was a walk in and I didn’t have to wait at all! Will definitely be going back!

Ok I’ve been going to the same nail salon for years and lately I’ve just not been that impressed. So after looking here on Unilocal I decided to try lams nail and spa. Let me just tell you. My visits at the old salon would take 30 minutes for a full set with color! This place took over an hour! She was so meticulous and took her time to ensure good quality work. And at the old place my color would be so uneven it was embarrassing but this lady at lams is what we call a professional. I am ecstatic about this place and I will for sure be coming back time and time again. And it’s also reasonably priced for sure!

Very pleased with the basic pedicure I received. The polish job looks great. I went close to opening time and had no wait at all. The foot stone scrub could have been done a bit longer and done to ensure smooth feet afterwards but nonetheless it was sufficient. I would return and try them again.

I went for a second acrylic fill. Lam, the owner, didn’t want me to wait too long so she started my nails until a tech was available. My nails are great. I paid with cash but I did hear another customer pay with a credit card and had the tip added to it. You just have to tell them before they run the card through. :)

I find it strange that in a town with so many nail salons, it can be incredibly difficult to find a place with good customer service and you feel as though your presence is welcome. While I’ve only been here once, I am extremely hopeful. I was warmly greeted, my comfort was clearly a priority, no one tried to push me to add on services I did not want, it was thoroughly relaxing, and my pedi looks great! It’s a clean operation and they had plenty of chairs. I will FOR SURE be back!
