I live closer to the Safeway in this town than this King Soopers but it has WAY more options for organic and healthy food so I typically shop here instead. But what I love the very most is the diversity of the staff — lots of different ethnicities, lots of different accents, some have disabilities… makes me feel like I’m actually living in the real world.

The WORST customer service ever experienced at a King Soopers. I’ve been shopping at various Soopers for years and have never thought twice about the service b/c it is generally good. This location however is full of RUDE cashiers and baggers. The store and selection are fine, but be aware of the service. We moved back to the area about 2 months ago and the trip that finally prompted me to write a review was a bagger who put all of my bags in a separate cart from the one I was already using and had my baby in. No biggie had he helped me out or offered to move them into my cart, but he simply walked away leaving me with either moving the bags or my sleeping baby. Obviously, I survived but left the store in shock of how rude it seems the majority of employees are here. I plan to start driving the extra couple of miles to the Louisville location.

I am new to the area and hate that this is the closest grocery store to me! The customer service is horrible. I stopped by tonight around 9 o’clock to do my weekly shopping and by the time i went to check out(around 930) no cashiers were open. I’ll admit… Self checkout is great, but not when you have a buggy full of groceries! the«self checkout monitor», another employee, and the MANAGER were all standing around talking(with no offer to help or apologize). Will make a point to shop elsewhere from now on!

One cashier is so power tripped over running the automated check out lines it’s a joke I left my food due to how stupid the setup is. They need real cashiers. I won’t be back.

Ok… So I am here all the time. They offer a good selection of organic and regular items. Their produce is pretty good most of the time and I like their variety of fresh meats and seafood. I wish they had a better selection of gourmet spices and other ingredients. I like to support our local grocery store and I feel they do a great job of keeping the store very clean and up to date. Their staff is friendly and is always willing to help me find anything I need. I like that they have an olive and cheese bar for specialty items. There floral department is good as well. They can make any floral or balloon arrangement you might need. We have bought a few cakes from their bakery and they are very moist and yummy. King Soopers is the best grocery store!

Whoever designed the front end of this store should be fired. Once you enter the store, you have three choices. 1. Hang a left & work your way through the floral/produce maze, and it is a maze! 2. Hang a right & weave your way through the people & carts in the front end, to the magazine section where you can finally make your way into the main area of the store. 3. Take the most direct route, which is to enter via the self check out lanes where other customers are trying to exit. None are good options. The produce/floral maze infuriates me. If the person in front of you stops to look at something, you are stuck until they move. It’s too bad when they remodeled a few years ago they didn’t re-design the front end. The remodel on the Louisville store sucks too. Kroger needs a new design team. A team that actually shops for groceries would be good. I also can’t stand when they put stacks of cases of canned goods in the aisles. The aisles are barely wide enough to get two carts through &KS puts something in the way. ~facepalm. Product selection is ok. Pricing is ok.

This is my go-to grocery store. I find what I need at the King Soopers price and head for home. I do wish they would keep a checkout lane staffed during the quieter times. Often I find that only self-checkout is open, and there are times when I’d rather just have a cashier available. I’ve always found the employees to be courteous and helpful. The produce prices are all over the map, so I rely on ratings sites like to point out whether something is a good deal.

I used to really like this King Soopers. But they redesigned the store and took away the dedicated natural foods section. So instead of being able to find all the natural foods easily in one place, now I have to hunt all over the store. I used to go there quite often. But now I go infrequently — it is easier to find what I’m looking for, which is mainly organic and natural foods, at Sunflower or Vitamin Cottage. I did talk with the manager about this, and he said they had heard from others that they also didn’t like this change. I’m guessing they won’t go back, but perhaps if they get enough feedback they would reconsider this change.

This may not be the best KS store around but hey. it is KS and they have most KS stuff. I usually try to buy less than 5 items here so I can check myself out and avoid the huge lines. Yes the lines can be miles long here at times But the employees try their best to get things moving fast. The Employees are polite and courteous and ready to help out if you are looking for anything in particular.

Terrible, terrible place. The selction sucks. They dont carry stuff that most KS stores have. The cheese selection sucks and the guy that works the cheese counter has a shitty attitude and doesn’t know crap. Dozens of employees stand around and pick their noses while carts pile up in the parking lot and lines build up at the 2 open registers. If you go here, you WILL be sorry.
