For quite awhile the only coffee to be had along 287 was from a gas station. Now I think I counted three McBucks between Broomfield and Longmont(one in a Supermarket). Before the evil S. Buck empire found 287, Java Java was my only caffeine refuge along this back route north. I never even saw the Proto’s at the other end of this strip mall until lately. A couple of months ago we ate at Proto’s and I ran down for a quick Americano. Closed. I guess the Bucks will get my evening bucks for now. Decent bean tea, nice counter help. Support the little guys.

Small, laid back, with free wifi. Not much for seating\table options if you actually want to do any work. Typical espresso drinks that you’ll find anywhere else. Yet it’s hard to taste the java with the overwhelming amount of milk added to their creations. If you want the zip in your go go juice, make it a double shot. Staff are very pleasant and they have an appealing baked goods display.
