History

Established in 2004.

Our dental office in Lafayette, CO has been providing high quality dental care for over a decade. Our current building was completed in 2007. When you are waiting you can help yourself to Coffee, Tea & Hot Chocolate. If you wait longer that 15 minutes past your appointment time, and receive a small gift on us! All of our five operatories have LCD screens so you can watch one of our 90 hit movies or bring in your own DVD. We have state of the art equipment in every room including digital x-​rays and charts.

Dr. White is from Colorado Springs, where her family settled when she was twelve. Her parents were both active duty military, so before that they bounced from base to base. She graduated from Air Academy High School in 1995 and went off to Colorado State University. After graduating with a B.S. in Psychology in December of 1998, she married Eric White. The pair moved to Baltimore the following spring so Dr. White could attend the University of Maryland Dental School. While in Baltimore, they had their first daughter, Tehnley, in August of 2002. The family moved back to Colorado after dental school graduation in 2003 so Dr. White could complete a residency at the VA hospital in Denver. She purchased this practice in August of 2004 and had a little boy, Kian, in April of the following year. Dr. White and her husband welcomed their second son, Cahle, in July of 2008. The doctor delivers seriously flawed restorations. Every time she performs a treatment, there is an obvious and significant problem with the work. When the problem is mentioned to her, she becomes defensive and acts like the patient is at fault for the issue. She also has a very terse and unpleasant disposition. Some of the hygiene staff is great, but avoid the doctor at all cost!

She did a filling somewhat poorly and then was so busy talking about herself to her assistants that she forgot to fix my mouth guard that I had brought in. I complained about pain to her front staff later, and I was told that I should wait and let the pain go away. The pain did go away: My tooth died and I had to have a root canal.
The other reviewer described her as condescending — I would have used the word arrogant. I generally like arrogant doctors/​dentists as it can show confidence, but that was a mistake. Lesson learned.
And don’t be fooled by the convenient late hours — you want a dentist who is awake and fresh.

Ive had dental issues since my teens. Cavities, crowns, root canals. And periodontal surgery. No fun. Very expensive. I’m traveling now, combining work with seeing states and cities on my bucket list. I ve had many dentists, hygienist s and dental surgeons. I’m experienced looking for and being cared for by dental professionals. You may proceed with confidence if you are in the Louisville Colorado area, or for that matter within driving distance of this dental practice. Friendly staff, good hygienist (Tyra). I have seen Dr. Pool on several visits. Dr. Pool is as solid as they come. I know going to the dentist sucks, yet it will suck less if you come here. And… don’t forget to floss.

I have been going to Dr. White for 4 years. Her office is modern and comfortable. All of her staff have been genuinely friendly and personable. Dr. White’s office runs efficiently and timely. I was running early last time (maybe 20 – 30 min) and settled in for a wait in the front. They had me in a chair and getting started 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment — who does that?
Dr. White is knows what she is talking about and takes the time to listen, as well as answer questions. I have a tongue ring, and have had dentists in the past refuse to even have a conversation with me. Dr. White isn’t keen on it, but we discuss it like adults and I very much appreciate the opportunity to make informed decisions afterwards.
I’ll be with Dr. White until she retires, or I run out of teeth! :) She’s awesome!

The front staff is good, polite, efficient and willing to answer any question you have.
My hygienist is top notch and does a great job, she is always pleasant. Dr. White takes the time to explain the procedures to me and is very professional.
The location is handy for me and I appreciate their late hours so I don’t have to leave work to get my teeth checked and cleaned.

What are you looking for out of a dentist?
I will tell you what I am looking for:
1. Honest
2. Quality
3. Speed
4. Timeliness
5. Accurate
So we recently switched to Dr. White after years of inconsistency where were going before and billing issue on top of that. We also had several friends that suggested Dr White was worth checking out, so we did, and here is how she and her office did on our 5 things.
1. Honest — I feel that information I have gotten has been very honest, and down to Earth. I have NEVER felt like I was being pushed or rushed into anything. I have been told where I was at, what I could have don’t, what I don’t need to have done and what I should think about having done. I really like that approach.
2. Quality — I really haven’t had any major incidents since we have joined there, but my wife has had some stuff done and she is very happy with it.
3. Speed — I have spent less time in this office in two visits that I normally do at other places in one. Not that they are slacking in any area, there is just no down time. Waiting for your appointment, waiting for a technician, waiting for the dentist, etc. None of that, just constant work and you are out. I really like that too, they all seem nice and all, but really who wants to spend extra time at the dentist
4. Timeliness — This really for me goes to the start of your appointment. If have a 1:00 appointment and I am there at 1:00, I want to be called in no latter than 1:01. This place does that. I never spend time in the waiting room.
5. Accurate — Take my insurance info, know what I need to pay on top of that, and lets be done with it. That is what happens here, that is what should happen, and that is what didn’t happen at my last place.
I am happy here, never thought I would say I am happy with my Dentist, but I am.
Also, apparently there are movies to watch too if you want, though I have never done that, I am usually on a podcast.
Check this place out if you are looking for a dentist, but not too many of you, for if it gets too packed and hard for me to get appointments, this review goes to a 1 star to keep you all away.

I’ve been having Dr. White clean my teeth since I moved to Lafayette. The entire office is extremely helpful and friendly. My hygienist is great and we have a conversation instead of just sitting there awkwardly while she cleans my teeth. Dr. White has always taken her time to thoroughly check for cavities. I highly recommend them.

This dentist’s office is clean and modern, but I found Dr. White to be condescending and not willing to listen. When I switched my family from the practice nobody even bothered to ask why. Now that speaks loads about their willingness to improve, take feedback, and care for your customers.
