Specializing in supporting the health and well being of clients through the powerful and effective affects of aromatic phyto-essential oils in combination with massage, or either as a stand alone modality. Better known as «aromatherapy» the proper, clinical use of these oils have the proven benefit of lessened side effect and pleasant application when compared to traditional treatments and can effectively support conditions as varied as emotional distresses, skin issues and muscular skeletal ache and pain among other things. Each person is an individual with specific needs concerning their health choices, each consultation recognizes this and develops protocols that cater to those singular case needs. This is a holistic approach in wellness counseling and guidance.

History
Established in 1987.
Health In Essence is the newest incarnation of Liz Giles’, LMT, CA and was formerly know as Heart2Hands Massage. Now with a certification in Clinical Aromatherapy at NAHA standards, Liz has expanded the capacity to help her clients in a deeper more potent way than before.
The journey started way back in the late 80’s as a Massage Therapist to Major Motion Picture stars, directors, producers and crew members, for the first three years of practice. Continuing her quest to improve her capable hands and deepen her skill she moved to Santa Fe, NM to attend «The Scherer Institute for Natural Healing». Remaining in practice in the area for the next 15 years, Liz focused on private practice for the next 15 years working with clients from all income levels and lifestyles.
As a resident of Colorado since 2003 Liz is state licensed and has run «Heart2Hands Mobile Massage» up until 2012 when she changed her business name to «Health In Essence» to better convey the new direction of practice.

My journey as Massage Therapist began in1987 while working in the feature film industry as a crew member in Pittsburgh, PA. During stressful shoots I began giving back and shoulder rubs to fellow crew members out of pity. They soon started lining up, wanting to pay me, also wanting longer massages. I began to take lessons at the community college and apprenticing with my instructor in myofacial technique.
in 1990, with a desire to learn more about my new career, I attended massage training at «The Scherer Institute for Natural Healing» in Santa Fe, NM. I never moved back. I spent the next 15 years continuing to practice massage in the area as a mobile therapist and had, for a short time, a small community clinic that ran on a sliding scale in Madrid, NM.
A Colorado resident since 2003 I have run «Heart2Hands Mobile Massage». With the addition of my NAHA standard training in Clinical Aromatherapy, I have evolved my practice as «Health In Essence» with treatment space in Lafayette.
