Dr. Emily Sandoz and Corey Porche provide mindfulness-based counseling and education services for adolescents, adults, couples, and groups.

Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), counseling services at Camelia House aim to help people facing a range of difficulties to actively build lives that are meaningful to them. ACT is not about getting rid of painful thoughts or feelings, it’s about learning to life fully even when pain is present.

Emily K. Sandoz, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with adolescents and adults who struggle to live in peace with their bodies, including those suffering with body image disturbance, eating difficulties, self-harm, medical issues, chronic pain, sexuality, or trauma.

Corey Porche, MS, CI is a counselor intern who specializes in helping individuals and couples regain purpose in their lives after finding themselves stuck in anxiety, depression, and other struggles.
