History

Established in 1976.

Thirty-​eight years ago, after just a year of marriage, Brother and Catherine Abdalla opened Brother’s on the Boulevard. With many years of experience from working at the Abdalla family’s department store, the duo brought a sense of class and expertise that was long overdue in the Lafayette area.

Since it’s opening, Brother’s has grown. It has grown in terms of physical space, it has grown with it’s customers, and the business has grown to include Brother and Catherine’s children and a whole new generation of shoppers.
