History

Established in 1968.

Bill Gardiner began in the industry in 1968. He opened the doors to his first automotive service business at the corner of Union and Sagamore Parkway in Lafayette, Indiana in 1971. His overall goal was to sell and service recreational vehicles across the Midwest. Through Bill’s experiences, he saw a need for an RV dealer in the area and in 1994 decided to contribute to the RV business by providing quality used units at an affordable price. After being exposed to this nature of business, Bill began to see a need to maintain these houses on wheels, and started to service them and provide parts and supplies.

Tim Brand, manager at Bill Gardiner RV, has been in the recreational vehicle business for over 22 years. After working for a trailer manufacturer and a private RV park, Tim eventually arrived at Bill Gardiner RV, where he has worked in customer service, sales, parts, and renting. He enjoys helping his customers achieve a memorable vacationing experience by selling or renting the recreational vehicle that is just right for them.
