Rapid Shuttle

Consistently late. Painful to talk to.
Even when you remind them of the pick up they still show up 30 minutes late.
How tough is it to show up on time and conduct yourself in a professional manner.
Skip these guys. They simply are not worth any price. Imagine missing your flight cause of these a holes.

I Will NEVER use Rapid Shuttle again.
First time in LA and we booked a shuttle from our hotel to the cruise ship terminal about 5 days in advance on the website. Day we were to be picked up, no shuttle. Called and they had the dates mixed up on their schedule (not sure I believe that). In any case, they apologized and advised that I should take a cab because there weren’t any shuttles available, and then submit the receipt for reimbursement.
Suffice it to say I’m now out in the cold after being ignored when asking for said refund. Now I’m out double the cost of the original shuttle trip.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, unless you like losing money.

DO NOT USE RAPID SHUTTLE!
I called this company well in advance from Auckland to confirm they could pick up an international flight AND to see if they could provide a car seat for my 2 ½ year old. They were very nice on the phone telling me yes they understand international flights can be early or late and they have car seats.

I arrived from Auckland about 20 minutes early, progressed through customs and immigration and was outside at about noon (the flight was scheduled to get in a 11:30)
A person was supposed to greet me at the door with a sign with my name. In fact, we paid $ 15 to have this person waiting for us (as opposed to us waiting at the curb and calling them)
No one was there. We waited and waited. Finally i called the office. After waiting on hold forever, i got someone who could help. he put my on hold for a long time and said someone was on the way. Again, no one came. I called him back. He put me on hold again and said the driver was parking. We went through several cycles of this before I met the driver.
I asked the driver about the car seat for my 2 ½ year old. He said he DIDN’T HAVE it and had no idea about it. Remember, I had called the day before to confirm.
They charged my credit card in advance and at this point I am STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND.
Update: 4 months later they reached out to me asking me to take down this review but made no offer to give me a refund!
If you have a simple domestic flight they might be ok but if you have kids or coming from an international flight– don’t waste your time with this pathetic company.
