Business Owner

April’s love of indoor cycling came after an injury forced her to stop running. The low impact of riding on the bike allowed her to get an excellent cardio workout in a fun environment. Not having a dedicated studio in the area gave her the idea to open her own.

My husband and I took our first class with instructor Brenda and LOVED it! We did various intervals, speed/​distance challenges, and it was a great, fast paced class! We definitely want to go back!
My only suggestion would be to explain in more detail how the bike dashboard works so I know if I’m in the right zone/​target… I didn’t know how to control the resistance either, but quickly figured that out!
The cold towel at the end of class is a nice reward, very refreshing!
It’s definitely worth trying!

Getting a jump start on my New Years resolution towards better health. Yesterday, I went to my first Spin/​Yoga class. The instructor was Adam, love him! I’ve tried a few spin studios, and classes and never really connected, or enjoyed spin. Ignite cycle has changed my mind, and I love spin class now!
Ignite Cycle staff, and instructors, are devoted to your ride. You are properly set up for a successful ride and experience. Very interactive classes! I’m not sore today because the instructors worked me through the ride so I would still get an optimum workout while seated, and learn proper form first. Later, I’ll develop the strength to get out of my seat as I continue to spin.
I can’t wait to go back and spin my way through 2016!

I dropped in here while at a conference in Dana Point. I’ve been to a lot of spin studios, but this place was one of the best. The bikes were, hands down, the best I’ve ridden. The workout itself made a lot of sense to me, had natural progressions and a lot of hard efforts. The 45 minutes on the bike were really hard, but I felt really really good after finishing. It’s obvious that a lot of money, time, and energy went into this space and I have to say, from the greeting at the beginning of class, to the cool refreshing towel at the end, this place is a gem. I only wish I lived closer or they had one in Chicago!

Such a beautiful studio! They use computer consoles and Heart Rate monitors so it takes the guess work out of your training. They teach just like they are riding outside. None of those funny unsafe dance moves that they do at other studios.

Love this studio! Love the ability to reserve my bike, love the heart rate monitoring & I always get a good workout. They do a good job keeping the studio clean & I love the cold lavender scented towels given to you at the end of class. I also love how the instructors ask everyone to wipe down their bikes w/​antibacterial wipes at the end of class.

Ignite Cycle is an awesome place to get a great workout. This is a traditional cycling studio (no dancing, weights, etc.). You will sweat and be sore the next day.
The studio is clean, the bikes are awesome, and Sandra was a great teacher.

Great vibes! Dimmed the lights and played motivating music to get you pumped up! Very hard if you are new at cardio, but you can go at your own pace if you need to. I really enjoy class workouts because you see how hard everyone else is trying and it makes you want to give it your best as well. I had Melissa L. and she was super nice and motivating! Everything is super clean and new. Plus the workout room stayed cool the whole time. You finish the class with a nice cold towel that they hand out to everyone.

I have been spinning at Ignite since October 2014 & I absolutely LOVE it! Beautiful clean facility, state of the art bikes, & positive enthusiastic instructors. It’s great to be able to reserve your bike ahead of time, the cold towels at the end of class make it feel like a spa, and everyone who works here is friendly, positive & welcoming. Having the MYZONE hooked up to register your fitness output during class is super motivating too. they also have fun group contests off & on like the century ride in October, fun holiday themed rides, and currently a race across America. Come & try it out, your 1st 3 rides are FREE!

I took one spin class back when Crunch came to M.V. and I swore I would never do it again… fast forward to 2015 and my husband talks me into trying it just this once, pretty please, for him. Never in a million years would I imagine that I would say– I love love love it! Lauren, you are so fabulous and no matter what kind of crappy Tuesday I have at work, I know that 7 o’clock will make it all go away…

New spin studio in Ladera Ranch. Excellent instructors — friendly, helpful and most of all, encouraging! The music is upbeat, too. Love love love Melissa, Lauren and Martha’s classes! April, the owner, is super sweet and very accommodating. Spin might be intimidating at first, but your first three classes are free so there’s no harm in giving it a try! You also burn a whole lot of calories in a mere 45 minutes of your day :)

I recently moved to the Ladera area and came across this amazing place! The studio is always clean, the bikes are new and have fresh towels waiting for you before each class, and after class is over they pass around cool hand towels. Lauren and Melissa are the best instructors!!!

Ignite Cycle is a beautiful new studio that just opened in Ladera Ranch. The owner, April, is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and the instructors are awesome! The studio is very clean, the equipement is state of the art, the classes are challenging and also very fun! Love this new studio!

This is a new studio in South Orange County. It’s extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and is in a great location. The instructors are great (Lauren is awesome!) and the owner, April, is so incredibly accommodating and nice. For those days that you’re running to work after, they do have showers, which is also a plus. After each workout, they also give you a refreshing towel to cool down.
Since it’s new, I know there is a lot that will change in the upcoming months, but I do wish there were more classes and more consistent class times on a day to day basis so I could plan out my workout schedule (yes I’m one of those). I also wish the HR monitor system had worked since opening day, since it would have been nice to try a workout with that from the beginning– but all in due time, I’m sure!
Overall, if you’re a newbie or a pro cyclist, I think you’ll enjoy this place. you work as hard as you choose to. If you’re new, the staff spends a great deal of time and effort to help you get set up and they make sure you’re comfortable. Generally, I’d recommend this place. it will only get busier, so definitely give it a try!

Just got home from a new cycle place in Ladera Ranch. Great Instructor, I was able to hear instructions well. They have included a panel for calorie burn and RPM and is a nice feature. I love location, staff, ambience, and class energy. Excited to make this part of my weekly fitness routine.

This place is AMAZING! From the minute you walk in you are greeted by friendly attentive crew. The instructors are friendly and helpful. The bikes are awesome. Lauren is awesome you must take one of her classes. With her I’m working hard the whole 45 minute class and never looking at the clock. She helped me with my first workout class/​spin since a very major life changing surgery and ensured even prior to knowing that all new students were adjusted correctly to ensure no one was hurting themselves. I seriously can’t say enough good things about her, the studio and staff. I look forward to Lauren’s motivation and next obstacle (hill). It’s my new Zen. The owner is completely attentive and very customer service orientated. She went above and beyond for me and can’t thank her enough. I wish all the Ignite Cycle crew much success. If you haven’t been GO! You won’t be let down! First 3 classes are free too!

Great new studio! Immaculately clean, great instructors, top-​of-​the-​line equipment. I have been taking classes for a few years and have never had such an all-​around awesome experience.
A very challenging workout in a comfortable environment where you can really push yourself to the limit or back-​off with no judgement if you are not feeling 100%.
The instructors here seem truly invested in making sure you have the best work-​out possible.
Cold towels are distributed at the conclusion of class — how nice!
Highly recommend whether you are a seasoned cycler or new to the work-​out.

Yay for a brand new cycling studio and brand new free motion bikes!!! I have taken a few classes here since they have opened. The studio is super cute and clean. I love how they pass out cold towels after the workout. I’ve taken 2 different instructors classes here, Lauren and Joe. Lauren is super motivating and sweet and really pushes you to be better and stronger on hills and endurance. Joe has awesome music and a fast paced class with a lot of sprints. I really enjoy it here. There are a few other instructors who I haven’t taken yet. I’ve been spinning for years and there was nothing in south county really except the big corporate gyms like 24 and LA fitness. I love how this is just for spin. The bikes are awesome and smooth, and the instructors I have taken so far have been amazing. If you Iive in Ladera or south county I definitely recommend experiencing a class here.
