A+ Vision Optometry helps people improve their functional vision by ensuring that they have the optimal prescription glasses and/​or contact lenses. We help perople achieve clear, comfortable and efficient vision for all visual needs. We do not consider ²⁰⁄₂₀ perfect vision because we know most visual tasks require more than ²⁰⁄₂₀ eye sight, especially reading, learning, computer work, sports, and driving at night. We work with people of all ages, from infants to the elderly. We can help with vision-​related learning difficulties, lazy eyes, eye turns, or visual challenges from a head injury or stroke.

We also carry a wide variety of designer frames including Ted Baker, Coach, Vera Wang, Tommy Bahamas, William Morris, Kate Spade, Banana Republic, Lulu Guinness, William Rast, Guess, Fisher Price, Izon, and many more!

History

Established in 2007.

After 5 years of being a full-​time faculty at the Southern California College of Optometry, Dr. Nguyen decided to open her private practice so that she could devote more time to patient care. She prides herself on providing the most thorough and personal care to every patient. She makes sure that her staff are always caring, friendly, and respectful.

Dr. Nguyen performs eye and vision exams to patients of all ages. She also provides evaluations and treatment for vision-​related learning disorders, eye turns, lazy eyes, sports-​related difficulties, brain injury and stroke-​related vision problems. She also has expertise with examining children with special needs such as autism, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy…

Business Owner

Dr. Monique Nguyen has been an Optometrist for 9 years. She was a full-​time Assistant Professor in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at the Southern California College of Optometry for 5 years. In addition to practicing in her private practice, A+ Vision Optometry, she is still an Assistant Professor at SCCO. She also coordinates the pediatric vision clinic at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Garden Grove, providing pediatric vision care to Orange County’s under-​served populations.
