Walmart Supercenter

The worst Walmart I have ever been to. They make you pay 5 cents. In self check out they dont’t have any bags handy. I guess they dont’t expect you to buy anything or have no hospitality, I think it’s the latter. They check your receipt on your way out. Only place does this is Sam’s. You are going to spend 25 minutes minimum in check out.

They had about 3 total checkers with a pretty high volume of shoppers, and they managers couldn’t even be bothered to come help me out at the sporting goods counter for over 30 minutes. I asked the manager what the deal was and they didn’t even give me a reason other than «management had to give me the keys, I don’t know why it takes that long».

This location reminds me of a Kmart with its store layout, the look/​feel/​smell, and the location. It has a standard walmart grocery section with all of the walmart extras for home, electronics, and clothing.

If I could give negative stars I would. Tried to cash my check and they wouldn’t take it because I signed it waiting in line. I signed it because I thought I would use my time wisely while waiting ad help them and myself out. Turns out all my time was wasted anyways. This was a second chance for Walmart anyways and there will not be a third.

On saturday, february 6^th 2016, I went to Walmart located on 1401 Galaxy Dr NE, Lacey, WA 98 516 buy a prescription medicine. My doctor called an 20 minutes before my arrival to walmart to make sure the medicine is in stock. I went to the cashier (Shelcy), she took my prescription, took my name and address, and told me it’s going to be 20 minute wait. I came back 25 minutes later (gave them extra time just in case) only to find out that my prescription is not ready for pick up and I am told by Christa that it’s still in the process and I’ll have to come back 20 min. Not good, but what can I do? So, 20 minutes later I go back ready to get my medicine but Christa tells me it’s not ready, it’s still in the process and I need to wait another 20 minutes. At this point I see a girl counting pills in the back, touching the pills with her bare hands. I go back to Shelcy to get back my prescription, at this point being for an hour at the pharmacy (wait time plus lines) and Shelcy tells me that no need to wait, the prescription is ready. Finally I get my medicine, pay for it, and now another line to the pharmacist is forming.
This experience made me realize walmart was not worth it. Unless there is an emergency I will avoid shopping there

Wait in line to pay the sloth cashier in the fast lane.
Then wait in line to leave so I can show that I payed.
Oh and detaining people is illegal. You do not have to show you paid this is completely valuntary. What’s worse is people do this without question.

I’d give this store a lower star if I could. I’m typically a fan of Wal-​Mart, but this store has the worst customer care of any I’ve been to. I asked four service reps (if that’s what you would call then) for two different products. I was told four times «we don’t have those here». Not a single one of them offered to look our ask someone else. After 10 minutes of looking around I found the exact products I had asked about. One of the products in the same section where the employee worked. Having served in retail before, I felt I should tell a manager so they could address the situation, but couldn’t find one of those either. It’s no wonder people are willing to pay a bit more at Target for better care.

If i could rate this store with NO stars i would!!! It is horrible! They never have enough people working and nobody can tell you where things are! In the last month i have walked out with a buggy full of merchandise sitting in the long ass line to the register! They need to figure it out!

Today, I sat waiting for 15 minutes after I set off the «notifying associate for assistance», while 7 people walked by without asking if I need assistance or any acknowledgment. All I wanted was to pick up an Internet order. I could hear loud conversation and laughing coming from the back.
Finally, after requesting help from someone who walked by, a nice lady did help and was nice about it. She was the same lady working in the electronics department and is the only nice person I’ve encountered at this Walmart. There were a ton of people in the back who could have assisted and didn’t. I’ve ordered things online before and picked up and the wait always seems to take forever. Overall, customer service at this Walmart (like most) completely sucks. The lines are extremely long and there is never enough staff when you are ready to checkout… now I know why, they are all hanging out in the back.

It’s a decent Walmart. Supercenter format — open 24 hours with easy access to freeways.

I come into Wally World late at night. Normally after my workout. I peruse the aisles for clearance items and slightly out of boredom. (I mean, it’s Lacey. There’s no nightlife here.) This place often has a gang of hooligans around. Not the kind that will bother you, but the kind that may follow you around. Don’t worry, just work on your Asian mom death stare and they tend to melt into the men’s underwear section. All in all, I like the store.

Slowest. Checkout. Ever.
Watching paint dry in slow motion would have taken less time than the whole checkout process. Ok maybe not, but I timed it. I was standing in line for 45 minutes. Yep you read it right 45 mins. Not 4 – 5 mins, 45…
The management here is absolutely awful. Under their expertise only 3 of maybe 36 registers were open. There was spilled milk in the walkway that wasn’t attended to, and pure idiocy across the board. There were 15 – 20 people in each of the 3 lines. My cashier looked like she was ready to go on a shooting rampage, and the spilled milk was there for so long that they could have pawned it off as a soft cheese.
Management’s response to the previously mentioned situation consisted of continuously paging «Phil» and searching for the low man on the totem pole to clean up the gallon of spilled milk. After a while I looked at some greasy haired 20 something who was apparently in charge of this shit show, and asked her what she was going to do next. She immediately spun on her heels and reappeared 10 minutes later with rolls of toilet paper to soak up the spilled milk… After she finished «making it rain» toilet paper, Billy Bob appeared with his janitorial cart and sprinkled kitty litter all over the floor, put a cone down and left…
I watched this whole thing unfold in disbelief. This idiot manager chose not to open more checkout lanes, failed to address the milk situation and basically established lordship of ass clown mountain.
Oh and we never found «Phil». I’m sure he was in the back huffing canned air watching DVDs from the 3 dollar bin.

My favorite Walmart because it’s the largest super Walmart I’ve been to. The selection is fabulous! If other Walmarts are out of stock, this one usually has it.

WORST Walmart I have EVER been to. I have lived all over the U.S. Every time I go in, it takes at least 20 min to check out. That is no exaggeration either. If you can, avoid this Walmart. They are rude, slow and just plain horrible here.

We were told to go to four different people to get us dry ice. You all need to be on the same page and know what to tell your customers when they need to buy something! We wasted 30 minutes going from cashier to cashier to customer service and then another cashier.

I have twins and when they were a few months old, I took them in their stroller to purchase some items. Usually I put a basket over the handle bars of my stroller and fill it up but I carry one if it’s more of the cube shape. Anyway, they didn’t have any in the store AT ALL.
I pretty much was told tough luck and they were not ordering any which is fine; I can go elsewhere. I’m perfectly content with giving Target my money because they usually don’t make me wait 20 minutes in lime or juggle items. I actually left there and went to Target.
I’ve also never encountered so many rude employees. There’s aspects everyone dislikes about their jobs but jeez… I try to be polite to others just out of common courtesy. You’re not doing me a favor by breathing.

The customer service can be hit or miss here. I don’t go here as much as I used to.
I ordered some diapers online because I found a coupon. I thought it was cool they had an option to pick it up at the store so that’s what I chose to do.
I walked to the back and had to call someone to help me. He was so rude. He didn’t even greet me. He grabbed my box of diapers which were heavier than I expected. He was rude during the whole transaction, but mustered up kindness to tell me to have a nice day.
I will continue to come here just because they’re prices are cheap, but I’m glad I don’t have to deal with the workers here that often.

Went their to get replacement blades for my electric razor. My right foot is in an air brace due to an injury so it’s very difficult to walk around. Needless to say I waited over forty five minutes for someone to assist me at the razor area and was tired of asking various employees for help so I then went for the store manager. Meanwhile, a friend that was with me, called to an employee of the store for help. He turned towards her and said «I’m not your dog! Go get someone else to help you!» I couldn’t believe what I just heard. I finally met with the assistant manager and she told me that the man that said that rude comment was another assistant manager. WTH! No wonder everyone in that store walks around like a zombie. No one works…
Very poor service! That guy should be fired! (He is a middle aged, black, assistant manager)

My plan was to go to Home Depot to get some furniture sliders but instead I decided to go to Walmart to check it out since I don’t go here or have I ever shop here.
Two things I discovered here:
1. Aunt Annie pretzel. I love this pretzel with the caramel dip. Oh, this is like heaven sent! I’m glad that they have this here. I usually buy this whenever I go to the mall and now, I don’t have to drive further to have this.
2. Tamarind/​mango candy. As I was browsing around at the asian aisle. I found this candy. Holly molly! This is my favorite candy when I was young (not that am too old). This is like the warheads/​airheads sour candies, only it’s Philippines version — same sweet/​sour taste but it’s healthier because it’s made from real tamarind and mango fruits. Try this and you gonna love this! mm mmm mm
Moving along, as I passed by at the clothing aisle, shoes aisle, furniture, linen aisle. I was like, this is a big store, they have so many things to offer. And yet, it made me a little frustrated coz I thought the furniture sliders, would be somewhere in the furniture section, so I keep walking around that aisle but I couldn’t find it, finally I saw an older woman at the linen aisle, so I approached her and asked if where is the furniture sliders, she didn’t say a word but she just nodded (friendly much?!) and stepped away, like I guessed that I needed to follow her and so I did. She turned her steps toward the car accessories and furniture sliders was just right after that aisle. I didn’t expect it would be there. Oh well! At least I got what I came here plus found and got some of my favorite treats.
Despite of the reviews of this particular branch. I will keep coming back to get some of those tamarind candies and pretzels. No one can stop me, not even the mugger! Lol, just kidding! It’s pretty much safe at this location. I think! :)
