MiSo is a local, family-​owned Washington eatery. We offer unique, fresh Korean cuisine — perfect for the health-​conscious crowd looking for some clean eating with flavor!

Our MiSo Wraps are a new take on Korean-​style kimbap and the first «Sushi Burritos» in Washington. Wraps, Bowls and Salads are made fresh with over a thousand tasty combinations of veggies and sauces. We use the highest quality ingredients prepared daily for a fresh, hearty and flavor-​packed meal.

History

Established in 2015.

MiSo started as a fresh, healthy idea in Singapore in the summer of 2013. Interested in offering quick Korean food that was prepared with health and taste in mind, the owners began building a select menu from traditional Korean flavors. MiSo then opened its first doors in Lacey, Washington in 2015. Since then, the restaurant has specialized in customized Wraps, Bowls and Salads for everyone to enjoy and celebrate!

Business Owner

Leena and Ryan try to embody the MiSo philosophy in their lives. In 2013, tired of corporate careers that left them stuck behind desks eating fattening fast-​food, they decided to change things up. They created MiSo with the intention of offering healthy Korean-​inspired food that was both delicious and health-​conscious. They bring their love of life, food, and family to each bite of MiSo and the guest experience. MiSo was born out of love and we hope to share that with everyone!

I love love love Miso! I am all about new food trends and have been living a healthy lifestyle since the beginning of the year. Miso is my guilty pleasure, but no so guilty because it’s so healthy. I have never met owners of a business who could be more nice than these people.
My only concern is that I love Bulgolgi and I usually order bulgolgi with the wrap and decided to get a bowl since the wraps do get pretty messy to eat depending on the contents you have. With a bowl, I was able to taste the bulgolgi alone and I was not blown away. In fact, it didn’t even taste like bulgolgi, a little more like thin strips of pot roast, so I was a little disappointed.
However, they do have a variety of «proteins» and I love that they offer brown rice. You can also pile on as many toppings as you want and only the Kimchi is a dollar extra… but it’s super delicious. Also, the corn slaw… OH MY GOODNESS! It’s probably the most high calorie food, but it’s filling with a small portion and adds a creamy texture to the wrap/​bowl without having to add extra sauce… speaking of which, the bimimbop sauce if my favorite!
I will always choose to go to this place after my work out and I can’t be bothered to cook at home. It’s quick, easy, convenient and yummy!
I would also love to see nutritional value so I can sub certain items when I need to be a little more strict.

Love the food. My boys are used to fast food meals. Today they got a taste of Asian. My youngest boy loves the food. We had 2 more sushi-​burrito as to go. We’ll be coming back. :)

Gave this place a whirl and boy am I glad I did. Their choices are fresh, their staff are friendly and helpful. Being this was my first time they walked me through it all. Even got a sample or 2 so I could make better decisions on what to put in my wrap. Which by the way was HUGE! I ate half and saved half for lunch the next day. It was jus as delicious after 30 secs in the microwave, after first taking it out of the foil of course?! That corn slaw is yummy. Highly reccomend. Wish they had bean sprouts 2 add 2 my wrap but, s’ok because the food was delicious, made fresh, quick, and by friendly people. I’ll be back oh yes, I will be back.

AWESOME place! We’ve been back almost twice a week since we first discovered it! Healthy, affordable yet delicious. We usually stick with the rice bowl but the burrito-​style lunch would be perfect for lunch on the go! The options here are endless! The husband loves the bulgogi and I love their roasted chicken. The chicken isn’t dry whatsoever. They have a corn slaw that is absolutely AMAZING I could live off of the stuff! The portions don’t LOOK it but we always walk away full and happy and sometimes with leftovers!
The staff are attentive, friendly and always have recommendations when you need it. Who could say no to this place?! We wish they have more locations around Thurston/​Mason counties!

Came in for the first time… It was interesting… Korean/​Chipotle kind of thing… Wasn’t as good as I expected but will try other entrees someday. Got the bulgogi bowl: brown rice, bulgogi, spinach, corn, radish, cucumber, kimchi ($ 1more) bibimbap sauce. chicken seaweed wrap: seaweed, white rice, chicken, carrots, onion, radish, purple cabbage, creamy sesame sauce (husband says he will definitely come back for this) pretty interesting setting too… Two Caucasian guys worked there. Very awesome service with k-​pop playing in the background

Similar to chipotle or subway but with Asian fusion foods. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

I had a wrap, which is basically a create-​your-​own sushi burrito, and it changed my life. Basically Subway for Korean food. Amazing.
The workers there were super friendly. I was looking around because I wasn’t sure where to go, and the cashier immediately asked if it was my first time there and explained the process.

So fresh. So yummy. I have indulged in Miso’s food three times now. If you can imagine a Chipotle-​style set up but with Korean food and friendly service, that is Miso. The bowls are plentiful and made with your choice of fixings or have your choices rolled in a delicious seaweed wrap. Do try the corn slaw. You really must. Kimchi will set you back a buck but include that, too. Soooo good! The owners are an adorable married couple who really take pride in what they do. Give them a try.

I work near Miso Bistro and have enjoyed every stage so far. I am thankful to have healthy food near by that is fast! Leena and Ryan are always welcoming and friendly. Great neighbors! I look forward to seeing them grow. They have a unique thing going here in Lacey.
The food is BOMB! I get the sushi roll with shrimp, veggies, kimchi fo sho, bibimbap sauce and ginger. They have changed the way they wrap the rolls and it makes my life less messy! The miso soup is really great as well. I hope in the near future they can add some avocado and wine to the menu.
Just remember, you get what you pay for. Healthy food and supporting a local business is a must.

Good stuff.
I don’t really know what I ordered, but it was delicious. I’m not a fan of the kimchi, so I will probably avoid that stuff from now on.
One recommendation to consumers: eat these wraps quickly. If you take it home the wrap will become soft, squishy, and gross.
Despite the texture being somewhat unappetizing, my bulgogi steak wrap was flavorful and amazing.
Two minor complaints:
1. My wrap was almost $ 10.00 and I was still hungry after consuming it. Can I get a larger size?
2. I found small pieces of foil in my food, because they put foil around the wraps before they cut them in half. This process needs to be re-​evaluated.
These are just small technical mistakes that can easily be fixed. Once that happens, Miso will easily be a 5-​star establishment.
I will definitely be returning, simply because these wraps are awesome.

My first time and WOW! Amazing food, fantastic service! I got a wrap and my wife a bowl.
Chicken was tender and juicy but the steak Bolgogi is the best! Loved the corn salsa and the Wasabi mayo was very good.
Only thing I would suggest is a couple more fresh choices like tomatoes & avacado.
The workers were so nice and I noticed they have a strong base of regular clients. Will eat here again & highly recommend it!

I finally made it in here today, after reading so many good reviews on Unilocal.THIS PLACE IS EVERY BIT AMAZING AS THE OTHER UnilocalERS SAY IT IS. I know, without a doubt, this will be my new go to place for quick, healthy, and reasonable food.
The guy and gal working were both SUPER friendly and helped explain everything in a genuine and friendly way (not patronizing or annoyed in the least bit). It is like a Korean Subway she said — yes it was! You get to pick what items you want.
I got a roll and my daughter got a bowl. We both gobbled them up and were in food heaven the whole time. The bulgogi is TO DIE FOR. Don’t skip the corn slaw — sounds gross but it is so delicious. Both employees asked if we liked everything while we were eating. They were attentive and seemed to really care about their customers.
They have a ton of sauces to try. The wasabi mayo was just flipping deliciously spicy — perfect really. I LOVE that they offer brown rice.
Both of us ate for under 19.00 (including drinks).
The restaurant was cute and very clean.
We felt «healthy full» afterwards. We both agree we will be back.
I wish they had one in Tumwater. This one is out of the way for us but I think we will find a reason to be on Lacey Blvd in the future.
It is kinda hard to find… it shares the same building as the papa johns in the same plaza as the Walgreens, Harbor Freight, foot massage, Paco’s tacos; etc.
Oh and as I was reading other reviews after writing this initial review I read that they offer military and first responder discounts — so thankful they appreciate those who protect and serve. LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL things about this restaurant.

First time here! I love Korean food and it’s hard to find Korean fast food in Pierce County. I was pretty excited to find this gem in Lacey and bugged my husband about it for weeks.
I ordered a roll, tiger style with bulgogi, carrots, kimchi ($ 1 extra), corn slaw, romaine and topped it off with bibimbap sauce. My husband ordered a bowl, tiger style with bulgogi and his veggie fixings with bibimbap sauce. His food looked way more filling than mine.
My sushi burrito literally fell apart from the first bite and after 3 bites, I ate all my kimchi. They should consider cutting up the kimchi more so when you bite in, you don’t get it all at once. The guy said the bibimbap sauce is spicy, but I ended up having to add sriracha because it wasn’t spicy whatsoever. The bulgogi is pretty bland too.
The owners are SUPER nice and next time, I’m going to just go for a bowl. Healthy, fresh foods that you can have fun customizing.

I stopped by on my way home from work today due to a recommendation from my friend. This place is awesome and the concept is very creative. I’m so glad she told me about this place.
I ordered the tiger roll with steak bulgogi, jalapeños, green peppers, romaine lettuce and bimbimbop sauce. It was so delicious and I really like how they have so many healthy options. The owners are very friendly too.
I’ve already texted a few friends and co-​workers about this place encouraging them to try it out. I’m already looking forward to coming back next week for more tiger rolls.
Plus they offer diet Mountain Dew which is my favorite soda haha. I don’t think I’ve ever seen diet Mountain Dew offered at a restaurant or fast food establishment before. More brownie points!

I’m so excited that I finally got to try this place out.
I like how you can make your own kimbap and bibimbap with the meat, veggies, and sauces you want.
I got a «tiger» roll which is a kimbap roll that allows for more fillings since I wanted 4 choices of veggies. I got it with pulled pork, cucumbers, carrots, mushrooms, and lettuce. I got the bibim sauce which I’m sure is gochuhang :) Better than sriracha in my option, but I’m bias being half Korean.
I also tried their corn slaw (I forgot to put in my roll)… kimchi, and miso soup. I like that the miso soup has a lot more flavor than other Asian restaurants I’ve gone too.
Already talking to my co-​workers about when to plan the next lunch out.
