Wonder Nails

Decided to try out a new nail salon closer to my house & I came across Wonder Nails in La Verne. Right as I walk in I was greeted very nicely, I didn’t even have to wait at all. They sat me down and some nice lady did my nails, I forgot to ask for her name because she did an excellent job on my toes! Pedicure was affordable, not too bad. The foot massage was great (included in the pedi) & after she painted my nails I got a shoulder massage as well, also free with the pedi. What more can you ask for? Very friendly staff! I will definitely come back here.

I’ve been coming to Wonder Nails for over 10 years. I love it, and have tried other places in the area, but always come back. I have NEVER once felt as though this place was dirty and my nails always last longer than 2 weeks! It’s a wonderful place and environment. The girls are great, and I really feel like they take care of you. Most of their clientele are repeat customers and referrals, and have been coming to them for a long time, which obviously shows their loyalty. That means everything. I always get compliments on my nails! I highly recommend you check this place out!

I go here every chance I get to get my feet done. Great service, customers first and relaxing environment.

**not even worth the one star**
This is absolutely the WORST nail salon I’ve ever been to! I get my nails done regularly and this place is not worth it all! Spent 60 dollars on full set for myself and manicure for my sister. 10 mins after we leave my sisters nails are already smudged, they put on way too much polish. Thats not even the worst part, Lisa gave me a full gel set, worst piece of s*** job I’ve ever had, she didn’t make them even or shape then evenly, after she put the polish on they didn’t cure good at all the paint warped so she just painted over it making them wayyyy too thick, AND she only clear coated one hand! The next day i took a shower and there was a water bubble under the gel polish because the way she did them. HiWhat kind of place is this, they were so bad I had to go to another salon and spend another 30 to get them fixed. I DO NOT recommend this place at all, the fact that they’ve stayed open for this long amazes me especially in a city like La Verne.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Ladies, this place is NOT CLEAN and does NOT sterilize their tools. I went to this salon yesterday for a manicure, when it was time for the cuticle trim the lady pulled out the cuticle clippers from a sterilized bag, but instead of ripping it open, the cutters just slid out of the top… meaning the bag was already opened and the tool not sterilized. Then she nicely folded the sterilized bag and I put it back in a drawer that was filled with all her cash tips (gross money is so dirty). After the manicure I sat there letting my nails dry and guess what? I watched her put the protective tip back onto the end of the cuticle cutters and get the sterilized bag out of her drawer and put the cuticle cutters back in the opened bag and then that went into her tool kit for use again. AMAZING that she does this in front of people, but I’m glad she did though because not only will I never return and tell everyone I know, I will also be reporting this salon to the department of health. Im tired of these dirty salons, normally I just dont return but I decided I will start reporting the unsanitary conditions. AVOID THIS SALON AT ALL COSTS… Unless youre okay with getting infections, fungus, you name it.

For $ 40 bucks I got a full set with gel. Less than a week goes by and the gel is lifting on the sides. Not sure if it’s because I got the gel done on acrylic nails so it doesnt adhere to it as well as getting it done on your natural nails, but nonetheless, it’s not worth it. The woman who helped me (Tammy or Kim or whatever) spent a good amount of time on my nails but 2 of them were crooked. Now I know why I haven’t had my nails done in over 5 years. I can do them better myself.

Not impressed.
No frills nail salon. Nice people. Speaking mostly to each other in their own language. Had a pedi and mani. Did a good job.
The lady doing my pedi kept coughing without cover. The lady doing mani dipped her cotton in my foot water kind of strange.
Cost $ 29 total without tip.
I would go somewhere a little nicer next time for same cost.

Love this place I’ve been coming here since middle school and 30 now so that says something! Chris, Annie and Lisa are all great at manis pedis and waxing!

This place has good prices and excellent quality. My pedicures always last until my nails start growing out. The ladies are very friendly and always do a good job that doesn’t chip right away.

THEY ARE THE BEST. so affordable and very friendly. thye actually like to talk and get to know you. ive have been to each and everyone and have had mani pedi and waxing and each service was done right. i used to go to expensive spas but not anymore :)

I wanted to find a new nail place that was affordable and did a good job. And I definitely found my place. They were very kind and took my friend and I right away. They did the best french tip I have every had. And they were very afforsable. I would recommend to anyone to at least try this place. I am very satisfied.
