This must be the weekend of my favorite places going down the toilet. I went to pick up the ps3 version of Batman Origins, which I rented through Gamefly forever ago and loved it. Finally it’s down under 20 bucks brand new, and the blonde, rude, tattooed up sales girl was giving me attitude because I wanted it new. When I asked if the ps3 exclusive download material would work since it was used she replied«well that material sucks but whatever». That sucks for Gamestop. For somebody looking into getting a ps4 I’m not going to get it there. I will still continue to gamestop but I will go to the one in san dimas, the people there have always been super. That sucks. Even my wife was pissed. I loved this place. Grabbed a burger at Hamburger Habit then went to check out some games. So disappointed! !!

After calling around to 10 GameStops in the SGV and IE, this location finally had the 2 games I was searching for. I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find a good copy of WWE13 and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 until I really needed it. Customer service was great. The obvious Dr. Who fan girl showed me around the store and gave me her personal reviews about certain games. I ended up walking out that day with 3 games and couldn’t have been happier. This location gets my thumbs up and I will come back again soon.

Very poor customer service at this location. Don’t go. Save yourself the time and just go somewhere else.

A decent GameStop. If you’ve never been to a GameStop, you’ve either just come to the country or probably have no business being in one, because they’ve bought out most of the little local chains that used to be peppered all over the country – thus it is virtually impossible to go shopping solely for video games without coming into contact on. The staff in this store are friendly and do their best to assist with requests and questions. It’s also rarely crowded, and has more room to move around than some of the mall-sized ones. The selection, I’ve noticed, tends to be a bit hit-or-miss, with a really broad and nonspecific assortment of used games. Most of the AAA blockbusters will be around and in stock, however. If they’re out, they’re happy to help you find a nearby location that does have them in stock(e.g. the Glendora site, just down the 210 a few klicks), and will have that site put the item on hold for you, at least until the end of the night. Nothing remarkable, really, but then, few GameStops are. I usually use it for fact-finding(e.g. what’s coming out these days? What’s a good price bracket on an item?) when I happen to be in that shopping center for food, gas, and/or water, and I’ll buy some used games if the whimsy strikes me, but I’ll usually not go out of my way to drop in. I’ve given it 4 stars because – though I’m not so much a fan in the typical sense of the word – as GameStops go, I believe that’s about where it ranks. The service is good but the selection spotty if you’re not looking for a recent smash hit, so it’s not perfect but a mostly-good example of what GameStops should be like.

This is our local Game Stop. With a 15 year old boy in the house, we seem to be here often. :-) I do actually like the store. The sales people here are very nice and very helpful. They are very willing to give ideas come gift time and have so far been right on the mark. The store has an excellent selection of used titles and they buy the old games you have when the kids are done playing with them. I have to admit, even I have bought a few games to play from this Gamestop. Will never be as good as the 15 and 16 year olds, but it is fun just the same. Check the used section before you buy new though… never hurts to save a few dollars when you can!
