ABC Smog Test Only

My Subaru needed a smog test after 6 years of no tests. The test took a short time. The 2010 Forester passed and I went up the street to AAA and got the Tag for my license plate. Good for another year!

What a great experience! Hubby always did the car work, so this was my first time in a long time doing anything for the car. We needed a smog check to transfer our car from WA to CA. Hubby told me to come here. The guy working here, Autumn (I don’t know if that’s how he spells it, but what a beautiful name), was extremely friendly and very easy and fun to talk to.
When I pulled up, he was helping a couple ahead of me, but greeted me with a big smile like I was a friend. The couple’s car didn’t pass, and he kindly and informatively explained what the possible issues could be, and told them what they could try to do to fix it before bringing it back.
As my smog check finished, I asked if any of his neighbors did oil changes because I knew we were due for one. He actually checked my oil to make sure I wasn’t unnecessarily changing it, and when he saw that it was so dirty, he showed me how to check oil, what to look for, and compared it to fresh oil so I could see the difference. So helpful!
He referred me to his neighbor, Bob. I’m actually sitting at Bob’s Auto Repair as I write this review.
I highly recommend this place for a smog check, and will definitely come again.

This is a fast, efficient place to have your car smogged.
I would give it five stars, but the kid who did the smogging felt it necessary to move my driver’s seat down, away and tilted back to drive it ten feet. It took touching three separate levers to make that happen.
He could have easily fit in the car the way I had the seat positioned. It’s a minor annoyance for me to put it right again, but a show of unprofessionalism on their end.
Otherwise, good experience.

I actually been here a couple of times for two different vehicles. Prices are fair and boy are they quick! They upload the results to the DMV so there is little mess. So much simpler than Washington state run facilities which can take up to an hour. I have been in and out in less than 20 min all three times.

This is definitely my go to smog place. The guy that works here is really nice and does the work fast. The price is great and you can also get a coupon for it in the penny saver. I encourage everyone else to go here as well

Glad I came here, I brought in my Nissan and Mark helped me right away and was friendly and made sure everything was done correctly so I could get tags for my car as soon as possible. I had a coupon so price was good, I would recommend this place if you need a quick smog check

I’ve been a repeat customer for years. I sent my daughter there today, as this is her first time taking a car for a smog. She says he was great, fast, reasonably priced, and professional.
I’ve now referred more than 20 people here, and I recommend you go to! There are some places that are just worth the drive, or even the wait (which there rarely is a wait), and this is one of those places.

I went to ABC Smog this past week for a smog check because I found an online coupon. It was my first time visiting the business. I found the owner Aram Balian to be professional, knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. He answered any questions I had and seemed very experienced with California laws pertaining to smog checks. He was also helpful regarding other issues with my vehicle. I highly recommend his services. For info only, I paid $ 45.00 for the check and electronic message to the state (with the coupon).

Great location!!! have been coming here for years and have never been turned away!!!

I called ahead and was told it’d take 15 mins. When I got there they were closed but a neighboring business told me he’d be right back. I waited about 10 minutes and when he came back he said it’d be a 45 minute wait now. I said fine since I was already there. I got sick of watching him eat his lunch with no cars there ahead of me being worked on so I Unilocaled another place with a better rating and split.
PS: go read the «not recommended» reviews at the bottom. They are all one star ratings and describe what a waste of space this smog shop is.

I had a smog check done there a while ago, but now I will for sure go back. The owner was a very knowledgeable and nice guy. I think he has done this type of work over in the UK as well. I would recommend for all the college kids around. I moved over to this neck of the woods not that long ago, so it is always nice to find someone who is professional to do work with. I have had to have many vehicles smog checked over the years. This was by far the fastest smog I have ever had. Excellent and friendly customer service. I will definitely be referring family and friends here.
