La Puente Bakery No 2

Best bakery around! (And I’ve been to many in this area) Very tasty and always fresh pan dulce. Been coming here for years after Mass. A Sunday tradition for our family.

Their guayava empanadas are a MUST try! I personally have never liked guava and still don’t, but these empanadas have become the only pastry that I will devour. I absolutely love them!

This bakery never fails. I have gone in for last minute cakes more than 4x this year and they always having a fresh cake available. The bread is delicious freshly made every day. several times a day.

Came here super last minute to buy my friend a cake. They were very helpful in asking how many people were being fed, the taste my friend had, etc. They had banana filled cakes, strawberry, tres leches «sponge/​butter cake», chocolate, you name it they had it.
Anywho, ended up with a large cake, was asked if I wanted something written on it. I mentioned to the lady a «happy bday» and to draw on a rainbow (because my friend is gay). I expected a simple drawn rainbow, but they whipped out this airbrush cake w a rainbow, and topped it with a man laying down (check the photo! Lol). I thought it was awesome! My gay friend and coworkers loved it and had a nice laugh.
The best part is that I was in and out in less than 10 mins and paid only $ 28.
That’s a bargain! I highly recommend it. I was impressed for such short notice. Also the cake was very fresh and everyone loved it!
