Beware, out to make money off you. Failed me for ignition timing inspection but had passed emissions. Went back to inform him I learbed my car has electronic timing and its excempt from inspection so he rigged the retest to fail for rpm’s and said I had to repay to get it passed. Went to another smog test and passed on first try. Beware of this scamming place.

Do not recommend, I felt like this place was trying to take advantage of me. I have a 06 Mercedes CLS 500 and they were trying to charge me $ 70 for a Smog Test! I called Greg from Vista Smog & Test and they charged me $ 40 and he was very professional, fast and pleasant. DO NOT USE AMAR SMOG! Or USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
They tried to match the price after, however, they already showed me the character of their business. No Thank you!

This was the best car smog check that I’ve ever experienced. I work very far from home and was unable to get to any station before they closed. Marvin was wonderful and stayed open later for me to get my car smog checked. This was also not expensive at all and the service was quick and very friendly. I will definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs a smog check and wants to be treated with respect while there. Thanks so much Marvin!

I came here last week not to do a smog but to register my new car. After going to the DMV and wasting my time for 3 hours I was still unable to get my tags. So I called around and seeing as this place is right down the street from my house I came here. The lady was real helpful and told me she could do this for me no problem. It took about 15 mins and I was out the door tags in hand :), I would recommend this place to everyone.
