Armando Medina Sr. founded ABM Transmissions in the city of El Monte, It started off as Armando’s Transmissions. Then later changed the name to A Transmissions when he moved to La Puente. In 1996 he changed the name to ABM Transmissions.

Great family owned shop that specializes in transmission. Everyone in the shop has a passion for what they do. It’s hard to find not only a transmission shop, but any other type of business with great service along with a desire to do so. I would recommend to friends, family, and anyone that needs mechanical work.

Tranny blew. Rudy took it in same day. Had it rebuilt and running better the ever… in scary NASCAR pit speed. If you have a drivetrain problem these guys are the best.

Friendly, honest and got the job done!

Just got my 2006 Mazda 3 done over at ABM for a speed sensor problem. Rudy (the owner) hooked it up! He was always a phone call away to get my problem fixed. Nice to know an honest place to go when the dealer’s trying to empty my bank account!
