Linda’s Sylvan Beach Bait & Tackle

Bait shop is located at Sylvan beach. The prices for the bait were a little more than what I am used to paying but they are conveniently located so it makes up for it. Not a huge selection to choose from but they have both live and dead bait. They also have some odds and ends like sunblock, mosquito spray and snacks such as chips, soda and snow cones. You can pay a few bucks to fish off of the pier. They give you a wrist band that is good until 5am the next day so if you want to fish and come back then you can. DO NOT get into the water with these wristbands. They say they are waterproof but they are not (unless you only stay in for about five minutes.) I suggest for them to change the wrist bands to the solid plastic ones because the paper ones that are coated are not water proof.
