Description

Specialties

Essenza Escape consists of any and all massage techniques that might best serve the unique needs of each individual client. Some types of massage I consistently use in my practice are:

Deep Tissue: Focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders

Swedish: The most well-known form of massage, can be done with either intention to relax or to invigorate. Swedish technique consists of long, gliding, surface strokes toward the heart to best increase circulation and therefore oxygen flow in the blood, release toxins trapped in the muscles, and create and sense of connection through all areas of the body.

Prenatal: shares many of the goals of regular massage - to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it’s also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women

Krystal W.

Business Owner

I have always been drawn to health and wellness throughout my life, but my path to massage therapy started when I was in a bad car accident leaving me with 2 bulging disks in my back. After being on pain medication and realizing this is just masking the pain and not helping me, i decided to look into a natural approach, massage. After receiving my first massage i felt much better but after receiving a number of massages on a consistent basis i started to feel like a whole new person, even better than before my accident. Massage became a very big part of my life and something i am very passionate about.

In May 2010 I graduated top of my class with highest honors from CTS in fredericksburg, Va.

My ultimate goal is to make every person that comes to my shop leave feeling stress free, pain free and like a brand new person.
