Had the bacon lettuce tomato with avocado with Swiss. Excellent sandwich and bread. The potato salad side was average – a little on the sweet side and not as flavorful as expected. The coffee was good. Will definitely return and try other items. Good value.

Great food! Love their fresh bread! I tend to order from Apple Spice for lunch during the work week and delivery is fast and I’m never disappointed with my meal!

This is one of my favorite places to get a sandwich. I always order the turkey avocado and it’s so yummy! I love that it comes with sprouts too. The idea of putting it all in a cardboard box(not a styrofoam«to-go» box) is so cute and unique.

Thank you Lida and Jeremy! My name is John and I am the deli manager of Apple Spice Junction and I absolutely love it when I read these reviews from our customers! It really means a lot to me and the entire staff in the kitchen and we all thank you so much for your support and your orders! Hope to see you and talk to you soon!

Good lunch place. Over stuffed sandwiches, fresh salads, baked goods. An okay place if you want something fast. There is nothing bad, it’s just an above average place when you want something more than Subway. I had the southwest salad which was lettuce, a spoonful of corn, a spoon and a half of black beans, some tortilla strips, and strips of chicken. The southwest dressing was tasty.

Food is always great and delivery is very quick. I almost always get the turkey avocado sandwich with side of carrots. Great quick lunch with fresh food.

I ordered the Apple and Walnut salad and I could NOT believe they charged 8 bucks for this«salad». The lettuce was brown, the walnuts were soggy(if that’s possible) and the dressing tasted like it came from a plastic pouch. The serving size was also rather small. The part of the experience that was the worst was when we went to return the salad and ask for our money back(this was done politely) we were not given our money back but were given another salad that looked just like the first. What a disappointment! Needless to say I will never be returning!

I’ve been to Apple Spice quite a few times over the years and have never been disappointed. OMG their curry chicken sandwich is so good and their cookies leave you begging for more. If you go you have to get a sandwich… I don’t know what they do to make their bread so good… but I don’t see how you can have a bad sandwich on it. The staff has always been nice and cheerful when you come in. I do wish they had later hours, I’m always sad when I go to La Plata and Apple Spice is closed… no day is complete without Apple Spice.

Apple Spice Junction is the best! Their salads are amazing and so very fresh! Not to mention huge! Luckily they deliver, as the place i work orders lunch from them every day! I get the Southwest Tuna Salad every single day! lol! Very Good! There is only a couple of drawbacks to Apple Spice. they close at 5, so anyone who works during the day cannot get off of work and enloy this Gem, and they are closed on Sundays, so anyone who works during the week and on saturdays(as I do) cant EVER enjoy Apple Spice unless they are in Applespice’s lunch time delivery range(which is pretty vast).Soooo if you can get to Applespice during their limited hours, DONTMISSIT!

I go to Applespice for lunch a lot. Probably too much. Very pleased every time I go. They have gourmet box lunches – basically you get a sandwich, side, cookie, and even a mint with each lunch. Best sandwiches include: chicken cashew, turkey avocado, club, blt deluxe… okay basically everything. I’ve tried a bunch of their sandwiches and the only one I’ve ever regretted was the curry chicken. The sides are also always tasty. They give you a legit homemade cookie, too. The thing that makes Applespice so awesome is the bread. It’s actual, good, homemade bread. It makes such a difference on your sandwich. The staff is always pleasant and cheery. I really have no complaints at all. Should you find yourself in La Plata looking for a lunch spot, this is the place to go.
