First off let me start by saying that this place sucks! The hookahs are terrible, the employees are worse and the owner doesn’t know how to respect his customers, usually hookah lounges do 3 people per hookah, this strange lounge says you have to buy a hookah for every individual person, weird right? What if you just want to come hang out with some friends that are already there and you don’t want to smoke, if that’s the case this isn’t the right place because the owner will kick you out of the lounge. So overall I give this place a 1 star because it’s not possible to give 0! No respect for customers, terrible hookahs, etc. thumbs down to venetian lounge!!!

Nice hookah lounge. Came in on a Tuesday night it was nice and calm, I think the weekends are a little more upbeat so you can select your vibe. Owner is very nice and socializes with you. And I highly recommend the the hookah upgrade for $ 20.99 instead of the basic for $ 15.99, unity hookahs it hits very smooth! Will return, great first visit.

Was just here and this lounge sucks… Honestly a really horrible lounge. Did not like it at all; a hookah managed to break andthe manager tried making us pay $ 250. Like seriously? The vase is worth $ 25. Last time I’m coming here.

I randomly came here with a friend because it was close to my house and I was pleasantly surprised! The vibe was great, place was very and the manager was very nice and accommodating. It being my first time I figure they would tend to the regulars and forget about me but it was the opposite. They made me feel like family! Needless to say this is going to be my new chill spot!

This is the best hookah lounge in San Diego. Extremely friendly staff, super clean and beautiful décor. They have great knowledge of sheesha flavors and great recommendations on how to mix your flavors.

The hookah itself was fine. I just didn’t like the atmosphere. This is NOTHING against Venetian lounge — just my personal taste. It could have possibly just been the night I went, but, there were too many youngsters there (baby’s first hookah lounge…). It was quite crowded and seating was hard to get, also. The music was VERY loud — to the point where I was uncomfortable. If you want to smoke hookah and relax, there are other places in San Diego with a more relaxed, quiet ambiance and crowd. The décor inside was great, however :).

This was the most obnoxious hookah bar that I have ever been to. Music was so loud, my ears were ringing by the end of the night. It was really nicely decorated I will give it that. But, did I have a good time? No. When I go to a hookah bar I expect a chill, lounge type of vibe. I felt like I was at a night club. There were girls that were WAY over dressed. Not to mention the creeper group of guys that were just chilling in the corner watching their prey, and dancing… with each other… in a circle. I definitely felt like I was in a night club. Except in a night club the DJ would have at least been descent and not have played crap all night dancing there with his mullet. Yes, I said MULLET. Unless you’re into the above mentioned then this place is for you. If not, there is much better out there.

Not what I expected. I thought they would have sold alcoholic beverages but they didn’t. Hopefully in the future they do (I understand a liquor license is ridiculously expensive and it’s a new place)
The place was very loud and we couldn’t really talk among each other. They played regular club music and some sort of middle eastern music so it was very different. Lots of young college students. I liked all of the sofas and the lighting I just wish we could heard each other.
In the future if the music isn’t so loud or they start selling drinks I’ll up the stars on my review :)

This place is weird. It’s like a cheesy night club with no alcohol. I don’t mind if I can’t drink, but if I can’t drink then don’t blast music so I can actually talk to people I came with

First time here. The atmosphere is fabulous, the décor is amazing!!! Chandeliers and the color changing lights the huge fish tank everything is absolutely gorgeous. Staff was friendly. My hookah lasted at least 4 hours, and the guy was prompt on changing our coals. Definitely coming back with all the exotic flavors they have! Reasonably priced too.

Finally a Hookah Lounge in La Mesa! I was very pleased to see a large well designed and comfortable lounge with a upbeat and relaxing atmosphere. Lots of exotic flavors. Polite and pleasant staff. Lots of big screen HDTV’s with every sport you can imagine. Clean, safe and well organized. These guys even have a huge saltwater aquarium and crystal chandeliers. We had the «Fruit Bowl» inspired Hookah variety that took us a very long time to finish. They had a lot of other exotic arrangements we saw as well. This is a great place to hang out and a place to have group gatherings and special events at.
