The Happy Painter

Dean is the boss and frankly as good as it gets. We’ve had painter before and been satisfied. He is expert and goes above and beyond. We had a complicated issue involving our bathroom cabinets. Over ten years they were starting to look horrible. Liked them before they started showing wear from being near water. One estimate was for thousands $$$ to replace. Dean came in did a reasonable estimate and delivered great work. While here f course I added a few places needing touch ups on walls etc. he matched colors perfectly. He even went beyond and refinished some bad spots in kitchen cabinets. Recommend him fully!

My husband and I called Dean and Kimberly after attempting to paint our nursery and bedroom. They came over immediately the next morning for a free consultation and quote and then were able to fit us in their schedule within a few days. It took two days to do both rooms and they were very neat and organized and even brought us fresh donuts! The rooms look fantastic. Our nursery has big bold stripes around the entire room and they did an outstanding job. I will use them for any future painting in our home and I highly recommend them. They really are a great team!

We hired The Happy Painter to paint the exterior of our 3 bedroom house after checking out several others on Unilocal.Although not the cheapest they were very competitively priced. The service we received was far more than we expected. We expected problems since the house hadn’t been painting in at least 20 years; we expected repair work.
Dean and his crew did more prep work than I expected. Dean’s attention to detail and neatness made this job the envy of the neighborhood. We’ve had several neighbors, including our mail carrier, ask for The Happy Painter’s number.

We hired a painter to paint our new interior doors because I don’t like to paint and I wanted them to look good since it took us nearly 20 years to finally get the new doors. I spoke with Dean several time by phone and he was patient with my questions and even gave me options for color choices thaw old go best in my home and the type (semi-​gloss or or not). We made an appointment and he came with his partner. They were clean and did not splatter paint anywhere which was a huge concern to me. It is clear that his pride is his work; not just the painting but his work ethics as well. It was bonus that he/​they were also very kind. I also liked that his rates are fixed and don’t’ change based on circumstances. Other painters scratch their heads and give me the «well it’s gonna cost you» run around but Dean is direct and stands by his work. I will hire the Happy Painter team again for other painting projects.

I have hired many painters and the Happy Painter was my best experience ever! They did beautiful, meticulous work. They moved everything and put everything back (including rehanging pictures) so it was an entirely seamless process for me. They were on time, charged a reasonable price, and were awesome with my cat and my dog both trying to «help» them as they worked. They did lovely work for me and were just genuinely nice people that are a pleasure to have in your home.

I’ve been through my share of painters, some good, some awful. The Happy Painter is by far the BEST. Wonderful experience, kind to my pets, kept to the schedule, fair cost, beautiful result.
