This review is written for Zena! I recommend her for any color or cut. She truly knows what she is doing.

Had my eyebrows tattooed by Remy last May. Been back twice for touchup & filler & still looks terrible and color is off. one side is thicker & higher whereas the other eyebrow is more narrow & thinner. MY mom paid $ 150 for this as a birthday present to me. My friends & family have remarked what a terrible job was done & now I have to touch up every time I go out to look halfway decent. For someone who claims 17 yrs experience at doing eyebrows, I would NOTRECOMMEND this place for my friends and/or family!!! I think my mom should get her $ 150 back but I’m afraid to ask since my mom still gets her hair cut there and she’ s happy with her hair cuts.

Thank you Angie for another gorgeous haircut! For reference, this is a long, layered«disconnected» cut: Angie has been cutting my hair for well over 20 years, has cut my family’s hair and even my douchebag high school ex-boyfriend’s hair who I wish I could completely erase from my memory. I would’ve love to have had her give him a ridiculously bad cut but obviously she had a reputation to uphold along with good work ethics ;) I always bring in a photo for reference as I have experienced countless bad haircuts during my lifetime. There was the one hairstylist who gave me the Jennifer Aniston«shag» haircut that left chunks of hair missing so I ended up having to chop it all off into a bob. Another stylist had given me a «trim» that took off all the hair I had painstakingly grown out from the previous cut. Then there was the worst one of all who«body waved» my hair to the point of poodledom that I cried and hung a sheet over my mirror so I wouldn’t have to look at myself… that’s when I was in junior high… traumatic to say the least. To say I am picky and cautious is an understatement. What I love about Angie is that her first inclination isn’t just to chop off all of your hair. She examines the texture, thickness, how it flows and will tell you right off the bat if a cut won’t work well with your kind of hair. But most importantly, when you tell her to leave the length, she listens. What a concept!!! Can I tell you how many times I have asked for a trim at other salons and leave with 6 inches lopped off of my mane? Infuriating! I have followed her as she took residence in 2 other salons until she finally made her home at Symmetricut Salon with her sister. A woman’s hair really is her crowning glory and I trust her completely. Go see Angie and tell her Emily B. sent you. I am a fan for life!

I’ve been coming here for nails for years now and wouldn’t go any place else. Ghada is so sweet and does a great job with my manicures and the pedicures are to die for. She’s always flexible with her schedule and works with me to make sure I get in bi weekly. She even offers waxing and eyebrow shaping. I love how clean and sanitary the work area is. I don’t mind paying a little extra knowing I’m in good hands. Did I mention she even does shellac! Gel polish is the best. Thanks Ghada.

Sarah gave me a cut and partial and she did a great job! She colored and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. I would highly recommend seeing Sarah!

I stopped in yesterday because they had a sign posted for a new client special. I explained to Remy, my stylist, that I wanted to bring the length up to about the middle of my back, I still wanted layers but wanted them cleaned up, and I wanted to have bangs that were long enough to be able to sweep to the side. I thought it looked fine when she was done, but today it doesn’t look like what I wanted. My bangs are uneven and they are cut pretty straight across instead of angled so it looks like I have a different hairstyle in the front. The back is not much better. The hair underneath is a layer all its own but is cut pretty straight across the bottom. Then there are some layers that fall just above, but some of them have blunt cuts as well. So really the haircut doesn’t flow together and is very«choppy» looking to me. I feel like I should call and ask Remy, or someone else, to fix it, but I’m not sure I want to trust them again. In retrospect, I probably should have examined the end result better but I was feeling rushed to get back home to feed my 3 month old. Of course, my husband says«it’s not that bad», but if you feel that your haircut doesn’t look good on you, then really no one else can change your mind about it. Not to mention I just had a baby and getting a nice haircut was something I was hoping would make me feel«normal» again. Update: I called and asked for a refund because I decided to go somewhere else to repair this haircut. They refunded me promptly, so I’m a little happier about the situation.
