Sun Valley Golf Course Deli

There is nothing better than a Sun Valley deli sandwich after a round of golf!!!
Very friendly staff as well.

The only way this sandwich could have been any fresher is if they put us in the kitchen to make it ourselves! Nice soft fresh whole wheat bread, crumble-​gently-​between-​your-​teeth bacon, just-​smooshed light green avocado, ripe red tomatoes, crispy lettuce, combining together to make their «Jack Nicklaus» special. My partner had the «Augusta» (turkey/​avocado with lots of veggies, as he put it)). He gets credit for finding this place close to our house, though I had seen the sign for it when we walked up to the basketball courts to watch fireworks July 4^th (a sign that has since been stolen). The deli is here for the golfers who get hungry and serves mostly cold sandwiches, although they do have hamburgers and cheeseburgers on the menu also. I will do an update after I try one of those. This may not be not a place to drive across town for, but if you live in the area you should definitely put it on your «places to go for a good sandwich» list. A bonus is the outdoor tables where you can enjoy the breeze and greenery while watching distant golfers play their game, making for a very pleasant and relaxing setting. They said they are open every day from 9−5pm, sometimes earlier. I’m sure glad we had lunch here today.
