I came into Pierres hoping he could make a new ring from an existing Ring that was handed down as my engagement ring. It was a bit of a challenge because it was a pear-​shaped diamond ring with a bunch of side nuggets. Pierre did an amazing job turning the old ring into a new updated modern ring that I absolutely love. If you’re thinking of going to Pierre please don’t hesitate. He cares a lot about your happiness and wants you to be satisfied. You can tell Pierre has a lot of class and really knows what he is doing. He was a joy to work with! I thought I was going to have to go to many different jewelers for quotes but luckily I went to him first and didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else.

My fiancé and I live in La Mesa and we were looking for a local jeweler to make our wedding bands. I saw their business on Unilocal so we stopped in one afternoon to check out their selection. We first stopped in knowing we weren’t going to buy anything but we’re jut looking for some information. Pierre was friendly and informative, took the time to fit us and browse through his selection of bands. He quoted us and we were on our way. We did a little research at home and found his prices for CUSTOM rings to be extremely fair and competitive, even cheaper than some big name brands for run of the mill bands. We went back and ordered our bands from his wife, who was just as sweet and helpful. We picked up our bands in about a weeks time and couldn’t be more pleased with the final product. Genuine, honest and reliable service all around, will definitely be recommending them and using them in the future!

Pierre’s Jewelers is the only jewelry store that anyone should ever patronize. Pierre is an exceptional craftsman who is highly qualified, knowledgeable, gracious, and fair. His business is solidly founded upon his old-​school belief of treating his patrons with respect and honesty, unlike the mall-​mills and chain stores. My fiancé and I just got engaged. We’re straight out of college and don’t have a lot of money. So when it comes to all things wedding, including the ring, we try to be smart about our spending. My fiancé just proposed and got a really nice ring for an amazing price from somewhere else. It’s white gold and he didn’t have time to have the rhodium plating redone. So we went to Pierre’s this week and let me tell you, it was amazing! They have the best prices! They were the most affordable rhodium plating from San Diego to Orange County. It was so affordable and it looks amazing. It looks like a brand new ring. Also we were able to bring in the ring and pick it up the same day. I’m so happy. They were so friendly too! They even let us try on bands and explained lots of things about rings to us that we didn’t know. We are definitely going back here to get our bands. So I’m very pleased with my experience. Great prices, great quality, and great service. Very happy!

I highly recommend Pierre. He had been my sisters jeweler for years and she spoke quite highly of him. Upon meeting, I found him to be very knowledgable, and very good with helping you to find the perfect piece of jewelry. He is also a talented craftsman that can design something beautiful for you, or restore an heirloom piece back to looking amazing! It is rare to find someone that really cares about helping you, cares about his work and is trustworthy.

Pierre has been my mother’s jeweler for years, helping her to redesign her original engagement ring after 30 years of marriage. When it was finally my turn, he helped my fiancé and I achieve the perfect ring with a family diamond. I was worried to take the diamond to just any jeweler because I’ve heard horror stories about stones being switched out. I completely trust Pierre and I like the fact that he does all of the work inside of his store. Pierre is a true craftsman and artist! He listened to everything we asked for and was able to make the ring of my dreams! Thank you Pierre and family!

Pierre has been our family jeweler since I was little, so when it came time for my boyfriend (now fiancé!) and I to start looking at having an engagement ring made, I knew I wanted to work with Pierre. We went to all of the big name jewelers to look at designs so I could show Pierre exactly what I wanted him to make. His prices are way more reasonable that those other «engagement ring shops» and you won’t leave with a ring that thousands of other girls have.
We worked with Pierre extensively to design the perfect ring and it is beyond gorgeous. He designed a beautiful cushion halo around a diamond my mom and grandma had both worn and I couldn’t be happier with it. To say that I was a bit picky would be an understatement but Pierre listened extensively and replicated the design I showed him perfectly.
I absolutely recommend Pierre if you are in the market for an engagement ring. You won’t be disappointed.

Pierre is a top notch jeweler! He truly loves what he does, is very helpful, caring, knowledgeable and a very genuine nice person. This may not be traditional but my then boyfriend who is my husband now allowed me to pick out my own wedding ring, the one ring to rule them all «my precious». I was on a quest searching for months and months, I had an idea of what I wanted and I knew it had to have a vintage look to it with filigree, diamonds and white gold, then when walking through Grossmont Center I come across this jewelry stores window rings similiar to what I was looking for so I had to walk in, I immediately b lined it for the wedding sets and that is where I found it, I fell in love immediately and thanks to my husband I got a beautiful one of a kind ring. I have had so many compliments on my ring, it truly is amazing craftsmanship. This is not your typical jewelry store where you can pick a ring out and see another woman wearing it, all are very unique in their own special way. We have had several friends get engaged and go to his shop as well after seeing my ring because of the quality of his work. He’s such a pleasure to work with you will not be disappointed.

Were not sure WHY we continue to go here, Pierre is exceptionally nice however EVERY time we have something worked on it is returned to us WRONG. Different crowns, settings are moved, finishes are wrong, repairs are crooked, etc etc etc…
Good customer service in NO way makes up for poor quality workmanship.

The staff’s nice, and they have a very pretty selection of necklaces. I tried on a few necklaces this past Christmas, and liked all of them. Go check them out!

I searched for months for what to do with my old wedding set after my divorce. I needed to get rid of the bad memories but didn’t want to loose so much value. Every place I went offered me pennies on the dollar, but Pierre helped me design my own unique peice and hand carved it for me. He took in my Iold set on trade and I walked away with a new and unique pendant that signifies my new life. My new design was complicated and unlike anything he had ever done but he didn’t back down from the challenge and even offered some finishing touches I didn’t even think of. He has a true eye for beauty! I’ll never shop anywhere else for jewelry again!

I have had great experience with Pierre’s. They are kind, warm and friendly. They do exactly as I ask and warn me of the risks if it can’t be done. I’ve ordered stones from here and always get what I expect. The best part is customer service here can’t be beat! Thanks so much Pierre!

The most unproffesional business man and company I have ever met. i took a watch in there to replace the crystal which i cracked. (the watch was only a few weeks old). the lady who helped me told me it would take two weeks because they had to send it to the watch maker. two weeks passed no phone call so I called them to check on it and they said they would call me when its in. One week later i recieved a call at 8:30 pm telling me that watch was ready. I came by the next day to pick it up. Pierre handed me my watch and told me to try it on. I look at it and notice to my surprise the watch was NOT working. I tell him and he says let me check the battery. I proceed to tell him the watch was only a few weeks old when i dropped it off but he wouldnt listen. So he checks the battery and tells me it works. I said ok thats cool but the watch worked when i dropped it off now its not. After a little arguing he says he will send it back to the watch maker. Long story short 2 more weeks passed before i recieved a call saying my watch was ready. When i picked it up the second time i noticed the backing was placed upside down and when i asked if he could put it on the proper way he began to raise his voice from across the store while he had 3 customers in the store, one right in front of him .he was telling me that it only fits one way. sorry but no designer watch is sent into a store to be sold with the backing upsde down. He would not take responsiblity for anything that went wrong. He started yelling loudly about how the watch was broken when i brought it in due to the cracked crystal. his wife i assume was helping me check out and she began to raise her voice at me as well.
best part is that when i got the watch home i notice one of the hands is broken now. now im gonna have to take it somewhere else to get fixed because i will never step foot in there again knowing such rude irresponsible people own it. i have never experienced business owners who refused to take responsibilty for their error not to mention speak to me as if i was their child. not once when i dropped off the watch did they take any form of notes on if the watch was fully functional. lack of proper business skills as well as people skills.

I have gone to Pierre for jewelry repairs, and to sell my gold, and to have specialty jewelry made, this man is the best ! His wife and children assist him in the store, its refreshing to see a family run business nowadays, PLUS this man is the most honest man I know, which in this business is very important. I highly recommend him to anyone.

My fiancé had my beautiful engagement ring custom made at Pierre’s. I could not be happier with the ring… except that I am because Pierre provides not just beautiful jewelry but an honest, no gimmicks approach, and great service. He sized my ring at no additional charge and from what my fiancé told me in contrast with other jewelers he did not try to give him an inflated price to be heavily discounted on the spot «just for him» after «talking to the boss» which is a sales gimmick used by well known commercial jewelers. Pierre actually hands selects his diamonds and I certainly appreciate this kids of meticulous care.

I live in Del Cerro. In the past I have used Golden Seashell Jewelers in OB for all my custom design and jewelry repair needs, but I was going to Grossmont Center and decided to take an older gold-​plated bracelet with me to see if the knob on the clasp mechanism could be replaced. The clasp still worked and the bracelet closed and latched, but it was difficult to open. I was directed to Pierre’s Jewelers where I met Beatrice who said she would have her husband look at the piece to see if it could be repaired. I got a call about an hour later and was told that the bracelet was too old to be repaired. When I picked up the bracelet I discovered that the latch on the bracelet no longer worked AT ALL! Beatrice said she would have her husband look at it again. I came back 30 minutes later and Pierre told me that he had «tried to do me a favor» by working on the clasp but couldn’t fix it. In fact, I pointed out, he had done more harm than good since the bracelet can no longer be worn. He said, «Well, it’s old and just gold plate.» As I left with the bracelet I had an idea; maybe he could solder the bracelet and I could wear it as a slip-​on style bangle. I turned around, opened the door and heard him yelling at someone (probably Beatrice), «What was I supposed to do? It’s just garbage anyway – just garbage.» He was obviously talking about my bracelet. When I got home I called Pierre and told him what I had overheard and let him know that I would not be bothering him with any more of my «garbage» or anything else for that matter. I also explained that I would be letting everyone I know how I was treated and that his attitude and arrogance had lost me as a customer. I will stick with Golden Seashell. Their workmanship, professionalism and GREAT customer service are well worth the drive to OB. DON’T GO TO PIERRE. He is an ungracious SNOB.

They LOST my ring! Long story short, they thought someone else had picked up my ring. We took it in for repair, called to make sure it was ready, come to find they thought my ring was picked up already. Owner did not believe me that I had not picked it up. He kept saying that a family member or friend must have picked it up. He had me drag my husband in because he would not believe that my husband had not picked it up. Instead of resolving the issue or figuring out what happened he kept saying someone in your family must have picked it up… REALLY… I had the pickup slip with me and they released my ring to someone else! WARNING… so any one can pick up shit from this place… After a lot of arguing he finally figured out he DID have the ring. A simple SORRY IT WAS A MISTAKE would have solved the problem. Instead of blaming the customer that a friend or family member picked up the ring he should have figured out the problem before dragging us to the store to blame us for their mistake! If I could give a no star I would!

My friend introduced me to Pierre nearly 19 years ago. I purchased my wedding ring there. Since that time I have been going to Pierre for many different reasons. Remounting, repairs, purchases. I love Pierre and Wife — they are like family.

Piere is the ONLY person I go to for all of my jewelry needs. I wish I could rate him even higher than 5 stars. I was so impressed with Pierre’s work and prices I recommended him to my sister, my best friend and several acquaintances who all swear by him as well.
