The food is okay but the portions are less than impressive. And I would about say the same for the customer service. The thing to be careful about is ordering food for take-out. Several times they have given me the wrong order, which I didn’t discover until I got home. I may still go back but they will probably never be my first choice.

There was just a little bit of itty bitty pieces left of the chow mein I asked if they had more in the back they said it will take 5 – 6 mins and everything else I wanted would take time too nothing was prepared on time i mean mein should be a constant change every time it’s low… not wait 5 – 6 min every time they’re low and this was around 5:30pm

This place is not bad for fast food Chinese. I’ve rarely had something I didn’t like in here. My favorite has always been the orange chicken. Rather than getting noodles or rice I usually get either the steamed vegetables or half noodles/half vegetables. I love that they have that option. There’s an Angus beef dish that’s very good, the honey walnut shrimp is excellent, the broccoli beef is good, the cream cheese wontons are not bad. One thing they used to have, although it was never on the menu as I recall, was the gyoza, or steamed dumplings. Actually you could get them fried or steamed and they were not a bad price for half a dozen of them. But one day I asked about them and they didn’t carry them anymore. The prices are good, the food is prepared fast and is usually pretty fresh tasting. I don’t think they allow too much to build up and when they order more to be made it doesn’t usually take more than a couple of minutes to come out. I used to love the girls that worked here, they were always so friendly and cheerful like they really loved their job. The last few times I’ve been here it seems to be a new group that’s more just your average restaurant worker, pleasant but not overly enthusiastic. There was actually a time a few years ago that I almost stopped coming here because about 3 times in a row I got the orange chicken and it was pretty dry and chewy instead of the usual juicy and succulent. But then it improved again so there was no worry. I realize it’s fast food but if I’m going to eat fast food I’d rather eat here then pretty much any of the hamburger joints.

If I could give them 0stars I would. I came to this location with my gf 3times. Each time teriyaki chicken was uncooked I mean UNCOOKED. Good thing that my gf noticed right away. Staff is just ridiculous. Screw this place. Don’t come here people.

I come here all the time and everyone is quite friendly until today for the first time I came across Luis the manager. He seemed very unhappy and felt the need to treat his employees quite poorly in front of customers. The fact that he did in Spanish as if no one would understand bothered me most. As I do speak Spanish and felt badly for the employees. Other then that the food is always fresh and delicious here.

although I had gone to this Panda for a number of years I had not been in lately. They have a new manager who hates customers. He askes you what you want and I did not have an immediate answer(I could not look because there was a guy holding a baby in front of me and a woman in front of him. so he manager was steamed. fuming. it took so long) He said«if you don’t know what you want do you want to taste something»(well if I cannot see anything beyond where I am standing I do not know the name even to taste it) So then he was tapping his tongs on the counter impatiently. The lady was not moving and neither was the guy with the baby and some kids were wrestling by the tables. and the server was furious. really angry. So I said«Orange Chicken» which is the only thing I know they have. ANd he said«what else?» Impatiently. I said. nothing else. he write on the box and pushed it towards the cashier like he hated it. Then did the same thing with the guy behind me. I told the cashier«I will not be back because your manager will not allow you to choose what you want. He was standing there checking some papers but just glared at me. [I did not go there to get glares. I went there to get some Chinese food» But there a many Chinese restaurants in La Mesa and I will not go back to that one.,! Too bad because it used to be a nice place.

Siempre que vamos nos atienden con una sonrisa y el paquete familiar lo llenan lo mas que puedan, ademas de sabrosa la comida, por eso siempre regresamos.

This place is awful! Customer service sucks here. We ordered three 2-entrees meals and I asked for a lot of hot sauce. The girl gives me 2 packets. So I asked for a lot more and she gives me 2 more with a dirty look. Like really?

Nico was very rude and the food was not fresh at all. The portions were smaller than normal. He didn’t provide sweet and sour sauce after I requested it. Nico never mentioned that napkins and silverware were self-serve behind me, so I ate my to-go order with no napkins and a fork from home. Very disappointed.

Everytime I’ve gone in there, there has not been any food cooked and ready to be served. I asked to have eggplant tofu, which by the way says order upon request on there website, and said they are not making that right now… WHAT! Some of the staff are a bit too slow and do not listen to what you are ordering. I will NOT be returning to this location anymore.

This makes me sad. The«chow mein» was gross and crunchy. The orange chicken had been out a while and had some hard parts… like maybe it had been microwaved. However, the teriyaki chicken did redeem the meal. Very good. Tables were sticky. But otherwise the place was clean. Service was weird. They smiled, but it seemed contrived… so i felt awkward. Anyway…we were hungry. But I’m not sure if I’ll go back.

No line(good) but no food(bad Had to wait over 15 minutes and my order was wrong. They acted like it was an inconvenience to give me what I ordered and had already paid for. Bad service, vad experience.

I know it sounds cliché, but I wish there was a zero star! I’ve finally hit my «never going back» point. I love Panda but at this location the food is usually hard, skimpy and I am left with the feeling that I wasted my $ 7. As my buddy and I walked in to get orange chicken and rice, we both notice Luis, the manager I assume, counting the pieces of chicken that he was putting on the customers tray. Every time we go here this guy is doing the same thing. Out of all the locations, he is the only one that stiffs people on their portion size. Like he was going to run out or something! The whole thing looked so rediculous that we walked right out… needless to say, I will not be going back to that location

I love panda express. But it’s the last time I go to this location. Every time I go there I have to wait. Today I went and Had to wait for the chow mein so he ask me what I wanted with it so he wrote on the container the teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken. I wait about ten minutes and the chow mein was put out I was watching the guy sell the last of the teriyaki chicken. I walked up to him and said I guess I have to wait again huh? The guy looked and acted like he was stoned. I walked out. Never to return.

One of the better quick and easy to go places to grab a bite to eat! Panda Express may not be «real» Chinese food but its pretty close! So far this lactation has been one of the better of the chain! It’s clean, and quick, the food we got was fresh and hot! We order three combo meals to go Everything else was on the spot! Beef and Broccoli, walnut shrimp and the orange chicken where right on point, and the rice and noodles was nice and hot The only down was the new ribs they have, they where fresh but not fresh. they had dried out just a little, but they where nice enough to pile them on in the order! I love the fact that this place also has the option to order on line for the quick and easy to go if your in a hurry, and just need to run in and pick up your order!

LOVE panda express. save the debate whether its«real chinese food». im not about that. I just love panda express chicken and shrimp, fried rice could be better tho. cheap prices too, you won’t get that at some of the«real» chinese food places. also panda express has specials and certain menu items are only available seasonal.

Food has gone way downhill… last time about 3 weeks ago we tried the pre order app well our food was cold and hard tasted like it had sat under a heat lamp for hours… the sweet fire chicken was hard and crunchy almost to tough to chew… last night the food was of the same quality… when we pre-ordered the food last time we got a survey email and still have yet to hear anything back so honestly they don’t care about the quality of service or food that they are serving. And honestly this whole only filling sweet and sour cups a 4th of the way full WTF… such a waste of plastic when I have to ask for 5 of them to get the total content of one cup… But it’s fast food how much can you really expect…

I like Panda Express in general when I want quick chinese food. Usually get mixed veggies instead of rice or noodles and their terryaki chicken. Good low(er) calory meal that fills the belly. This PE didn’t impress me. Had to wait for them to cook the veggies and the chicken was barely warm. I’ve had better elsewhere. LOVE the orange chicken.

Expedient Chinese Americanized Chinese food is the name of the game here. I had a quick dinner here before heading home from a exhausting day at work. I ordered the 2 entrée combo and one side. I chose the kung pao chicken, mushroom chicken, and the chow mein noodles. The kung pao chicken was good and had nice color. It had a good balance between heat and sweetness that kept my taste buds busy. The chicken was well seasoned and plentiful. I liked that it was not over sauced.( ) The mushroom chicken was good too but had a higher salt content than the kung pao. Here too, the chicken was plentiful and tender. The mushrooms and zucchini were well cooked.( ) I just wish it was not so salty. The noodles were pretty good too. The seasoning was mild and the sparse veggies yummy. The noodles were a little dry but cooked well.( ) The employees were friendly and helpful. Overall a good meal for around $ 7
