Kevin bartended my husbands birthday and we will definitely use him again! EVERYONE loved him! He was so attentive and he took care of everyone at the party! He made sure that no one at the party had an empty drink! Such amazing service and we will be using him again and many of my friends want to do the same!

Kevin is amazing. Very professional. He listens to each customer to tailor to their tastes. Very attentive and respectful. Classy and fun.

I’ve used Kevin for a few my events and he’s been more than great. He is definitely a high class bartender. He always takes great care of the guests, is very polite and goes above and beyond to give great service. I will use Kevin for all my events. Aside from service, he is very knowledgeable and assumes responsibility during the event. I’m grateful to have found him.

Was so satisfied with Kevin’s the first time that we automatically went with them again for a surprise birthday party. Afterwards I got so many complaints about the bartender that I felt embarrassed. Apparently she spent quite a bit of time on the phone while guests were waiting for drinks. A lot of guests did not feel that her attire was at all appropriate either. I think she was friendly and sweet but the needs of the guests should be the first priority and she seemed distracted all night. I heard it over and over from several guests. I’d definitely go with another company next time. (i was so disappointed especially because our first bartender through Kevin’s was so awesome!!) sadly this was not a repeat of our first experience.

Would not hire again. We used kevins bartending service for my brothers birthday early December and the bartender Alma was horrible, first she was a few minutes late, no big deal, then it was just down hill. she was on her phone while people were waiting for drinks, she went to take pictures by herself in our photo booth again while guests were waiting for drinks. I think the worst part was she asked to take home booze, and had no problem asking for hard liquor, beer and decorations from the party. If you have other options use them, do not use kevins bartending service because you might get alma.

If you look at my other reviews, I rarely, if ever, say anything too bad. But my blood pressure is spiking again as I relive the nightmare. Synopsis: HE DIDN’T EVEN SHOW UP.
I was the wedding coordinator for a couple, who are practically family to me. I confirmed with all of the vendors a month before the wedding. Kevin did not pick up his phone. Fine, I left a voicemail. The groom also contacted Kevin and spoke to him on the phone and if you look at how organized everything was, you’d know there was NO MISCOMMUNICATION. Oh, and there was a $ 300 deposit.
Fast forward to 1 week before the wedding, more confirmation calls. No answer. LVM again. 1 day before the wedding, e-​mailed him and got an auto-​reply.
«Thank you for your email, Due to the high number of inquires we are experiencing, we will get back to you within 24 – 48 hours of your contact, if this is urgent and your event is this week, please call (858) 342‑9606 and we will get back to you asap.»
Let me ask you, brides/​grooms, is this what you want to expect before your big day?
Day of wedding: Kevin was supposed to arrive at 4PM. 4:15PM Called him and there is not even a way to leave a voice message. Great. 4:30PM called my friends to have them back up. Thank you friends, you saved the day.

Meanwhile, the couple are having their wedding ceremony. The bride is like a sister to me. I actually know the groom and we all traveled overseas together. I’ve spent the last month working with the bridal party, friends, and family. This was a moment to be shared with them. Instead, I’m running around like a chicken without a head trying to figure out WHERE IS KEVIN??? We may get our monetary refund, but how do you refund MEMORIES? I MISSED THE DANG CEREMONY! There were tears, there were once in a lifetime feels, there was love, and there was happiness. Was I there for it? No.
Cocktail hour was cancelled. Guests did not have champagne in their flutes to toast because of the late last minute change. Melted ice was spilled all over the floor (which would be another $ 60 for repairs from the venue) because Kevin was supposed to bring coolers for the ice. We had to MacGyver some trashcans to make due. Almost ruined the bride’s day when I had to tell them what happened.
Hindsight is ²⁰⁄₂₀. The groom was swayed by the positive reviews here. If you are looking for a bartender for your wedding, don’t be a sucker. There are other reviews here where he has not shown up and there is an additional complaint on the Better Business Bureau.
His response to us was that he was/​is out of town. He has a staff. Utilize them. Honestly, no empty apologies will ever suffice. So don’t even bother.

Kevin and Allen were great at a recent event I attended. Drinks were on point along with their energy. These guys know their mixes! If u don’t call these guys for your next party… Apologize to yourself!!!

This is kinda late but better then never. I hired KBS for my baby shower August 2013… This was not your traditional baby shower so we thought why not ! Kevin was a hit and made the party better ! All the guests loved him ! And now everyone is asking for another party like the shower ! And we got calls for days saying it was the best party in general that they have been to !!! Kevin helped take pictures and danced with moms and got the party started !! My whole family, husband and friends can’t wait to have his services again.

Awesome bartending service for our wedding last weekend! Very friendly, stand up people. We added a special drink, Moscow Mule, on the day of the wedding. We brought the copper mugs and ginger beer, they did not hesitate to accommodate our request. They were always coming up to us during the event to offer drinks, including water thankfully! They were very accommodating overall, helping us get exactly what we wanted at a great price. Always service with a smile, you can’t beat Kevin’s Bartending Services! Would definitely recommend their services for your next event!

Kevin’s Bartending is the BEST! We hired Kevin for our son’s large Bar Mitzvah reception and he was awesome! He was so professional, yet fun and friendly. Can’t wait to hire him again!

Recently my company put on a large event and used Kevin’s Bartending Service. He is fantastic! Extremely professional and very personable! I would recommend Kevin to anyone and I will most definitely use him again. You won’t be let down.

We booked Kevin’s thru a party planner, Ebonie of Infinitely Chic Event Planning in Lake Elsinore, for my wife’s graduation party. Had a great experience and will be using his services in the future for sure.
Not only did he do a great job he went above and beyond all my expectations. Interesting some of these 1 star ratings but I hired a planner, let her handle it, and no one had less than half a glass full :)

If you are a bride and groom looking for a professional company then don’t hire KBS. If you are a bride or groom looking for a bartender (s) to drink with guests and party right along with you then hire KBS.
I hired KBS for my August 10^th wedding at the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club. Kevin, the CEO, and 2 other bartenders worked my event. tMaybe one out of three was decent. Kevin ran his own show which annoyed the crap out of me on my big day. And one of the bartenders did not know how to make the «Bride’s Drink» (Moscow Mule) the day of the wedding despite Kevin knowing weeks in advance what was going to be on the menu. Very frustrating. I guess we got what we paid for. The only reason we hired KBS was because they undercut another company we were considering — big mistake because KBS sacrifices quality.
All communications and interactions with Kevin were good leading up to my wedding but looking back, was a complete waste of our time. My wedding my husband and I feel we were promised a service we did not receive. We believe Kevin lied to us about his credentials.
The worst part of dealing with Kevin the day of my wedding was when I went to address an issue with him at the start of dinner service. I went to find out why he or his bartenders were not serving wine and he tried to brush me off by saying he was going on break — WORST TIME TO TELL A BRIDE YOU ARE GOING ON BREAK. I told him I would like 2 bartenders to go serve wine and one bartender to keep the bar open because dinner service was running so slowly. He seemed to ignore my request and gave other instructions to his bartenders as I walked away.
I did not like what I heard at the end of my wedding, the next day, and what I have seen in pictures and videos. Several guests had drinks before the wedding which I explicitly requested no drinks be served before the ceremony. According to several guests, Kevin was strolling around the venue, taking pictures and videos, when he should have been working. You can check out a picture Kevin took with me and my husband on facebook. Kevin thinks everyone, including my husband, were very pleased with his service. Kevin, know that we made it a point to enjoy our wedding and address any issues after the wedding, which I am doing now.
My sister (maid of honor) caught Kevin taking video of my guests dancing on the dance floor, and several guests told me they saw him lingering and hitting on female guests. I was disgusted by the stories I heard the next day. I also heard Kevin was rude to some female guests, including my mother when she asked for wine after the bar has «closed.» My mom was not only offended by the way she was treated but she even more upset that you threw away the 1.75L engraved bottle of grey goose she bought specifically to display at the wedding. We had 2 specially engraved liquor bottles to display at the bar; you failed to display them and failed even more by throwing the bottles away at the end of the night.
It really appeared as if Kevin felt he could do whatever he wanted because he owns the company. He appeared more focused on having fun and partying with my guests than executing quality service. Even if some guests befriended Kevin and made him feel it was ok to join the party, I would have liked Kevin to keep it professional and decline any invitations to drink or join the party.
Kevin did not conform to the idea I had for my wedding. There were rules of the venue I communicated in advance to Kevin and he either forgot or completely ignored them — such as all beer be served in plastic cups or no alcohol served before the ceremony to non-​wedding party guests.
One positive, Kevin and his bartenders arrived early and started working immediately. Other than that, I would not hire KBS ever again. Several of my friends over the last year have gotten engaged and are planning their wedding and I have made a point to tell them not to hire KBS.

Kevin is a such a pleasure to work with and helps make our events such a success. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking to make their event as memorable as ours. Thanks Kevin!

What a great company! We were so fortunate that our wedding planners (Beau & Arrow) introduced us to Kevin’s Bartending. My husband and I got married on ⁶⁄₁ and held our reception at the Luce Loft in the East Village district of downtown San Diego. Our friends and families know how to drink and know how to party and Kevin’s Bartending kept up and even found time to get on the dance floor with us! From start to finish, Kevin’s bartending was focused, professional, and super fun! Kevin always made sure my champagne glass was full and respected our «no shots» rule — our guests could get out of hand reeeeaaalll quick :)
We couldn’t recommend Kevin’s Bartending services more. We will definitely be using them for future events.

Kevin was the hit of our party — Ive never had so many guests comment favorably about something or someone we had at an event. Ill be using his services for now on. Amazing service, incredibly attentive and aware and a definite help to making our event memorable and seamless. We were INCREDIBLY impressed! Thank you!!!

We hired Kevin’s Bartending for our wedding May 18^th.
They didn’t show up.
The planner had confirmed a few days before the wedding and Kevin emailed me a paid in full receipt May 15^th.
We were not able to get a hold of Kevin and had to scramble for replacements 10 minutes before the ceremony started.
That night, Kevin emailed an apology. Later that week we received a check for a full refund, a handwritten apology letter from Kevin, and a certificate for 4 free hours of bartending.
Kevin says that it was a scheduling error and not a normal occurrence for his company. Based on the other reviews, I believe him.
We plan on using the certificate and will gladly post a positive review if things go well.

I used Kevin’s Bartending Service for two waiters to help during our reception because the price was the best I could find. I admit that I think the communication could be a little better… however, the outcome was fantastic. Allen and Mike were amazing! They were professional, friendly, and overall did a great job helping replenish food, keep the room tidy, clean up unfortunate spills, etc. If you’re looking for waitstaff to assist at your next event, I would highly recommend using KBS.

Kevin was awesome at our wedding. I didn’t get to interact much with him cause I was getting married but I had a few guests comment on how fun of a bartender he was. Plus he was super flexible in helping us and the best part is he has a liquor license and will let you buy your own liquor… pure awesomeness, he saved us a ton of money!

I was so busy that I didn’t personally get to interact with the bartenders, but everyone loved them. Our guests had a great time and our venue got the documentation that they needed, so I am thrilled. I would totally recommend.
