Art parties for any occasion such as ladies night out, birthdays, bachlorette, bridal showers, baby showers and family reunions. We can create custom art projects for kid’s birthday parties and corporate team building as well. Check out our art studio in La Mesa or our partner restaurants we host paint nights at around San Diego.

History

Established in 2014.

I was inspired to start an art based business in college when I was studying fine art and business. Originally it was an art bar so after graduation I got into restaurant management to learn the business. After a few years of that the paint and wine craze started to pop up so I thought it would be a great way to get started by using the restaurant I worked at to host painting events. Within 9 months of working full time and starting my business I left the restaurant world to do art classes full time.

In November 2014 I opened my first art studio in La Mesa and hope to expand around San Diego by 2016. Currently we are going beyond just art classes by offering after school programs, Girl Scouts badge workshops, Corporate Team Building with major corporations in San Diego and private events for any special occasion.

I have always been a creative person and love to make art. I have been in art shows in Portland, Los Angeles, and San Diego. My goal isn’t necessarily to be a professional artist however, I actually love making art in a social environment. I feel like it’s a positive activity that creates a tight bond with people. Thus my vision to start Inspire San Diego came from the idea that people can really benefit from experiencing art making in a social way.

They don’t really need another 5 star review, but they deserve it. I went last night with my teenage mentee and had a fantastic experience.
I am a mentor with San Diego County’s Foster Youth Mentor Program. Jessica donated a gift certificate for two to attend a class at our holiday party last December and I was lucky enough to win it.
First off, anyone who donates their time and services to the FYMP is amazing in my book. But on top of that, the class was really well done.
We got to paint out on the patio, which was decorated with string lights, tiki torches, and artsy knick knacks. The class was small and intimate, so we really got to engage with LaShawn and Jessica.

Jessica and the staff at Inspire San Diego are absolutely amazing! We had a private party for my birthday and it was awesome! Jessica’s customer service was impeccable and was able to accommodate all my last minute ups and downs. I recently organized a baby shower for a dear friend of mine and wanted to make it extra special, especially since I plan events for a living. I hired Inspire San Diego to add that extra level of fun to the event. Jessica provided two long tables and enough chairs for all the guests. She provided all the painting supplies in addition to the onsies and wine glasses that we painted. Each guest was able to custom make a onsie and a set of wine glasses. This was so much more fun than traditional baby shower games. They were on time, informative and extremely professional! Inspire San Diego is officially San Diego Events Company APPROVED!

Welcoming and knowledgeable owner and staff. Fun, inspiring classes to take with friends or alone. They even have classes for kids. I Love that they offer other mediums beside the usual wine and paint parties. If taking a class at their studio you are offered, water, coffee, tea, even hot chocolate. Comfortable setting with a darling back yard. Classes are priced fairly. Go have fun, you’ll enjoy it.

Inspire SD is the go to workshop when you want to have fun, paint, learn how to create art in many different ways, meet other potential artists and network. You’ll feel like a kid again doing something creative and de-​stress. Highly recommend signing up to some of her classes and who knows, you’ll be an up and coming artist in no time. And Jessica will make you feel like home or relax and be artsy. :D

Inspire San Diego Studio is AMAZING! I had another company flake out on me last minute the week of a Bachelorette party I was planning. Jessica was so great and helpful! Within one week her and our instructor Kristen had created a custom design that matched the Bride’s colors and theme just for the girls at the Bachelorette party for a private class, bought paper items that matched the theme of the party for our food and drinks and worked with me daily to ensure everything was perfect and ready for the class.
They made us all feel so comfortable and confident during the class, even though most of us were not artistic at all and the paintings came out so adorably! I would definitely recommend this class for a fun, unique and personable experience and I would go back myself!

We just celebrated my girlfriend’s bday there. First time painting. We had an amazing time. Jessica, the owner is very helpful and accommodating. She made this whole experience as easy as possible. We had a group of 16 girls. There’s plenty of room outside for food, wine and to socialize. Will definitely visit again.

Inspire SD really brings out your creative flow! The classes are full of fun, techniques, art and did I mention FUN! You don’t have to have any skill to master the painting with their great instruction. Jessica is a wonderful person and truly loves what she does. I highly recommend you try a class at least once, you’re going to want to do it again.

What an AWESOME charity event Jessica and Linda put on for us yesterday!!! Our Soroptimist club of San Diego wanted to provide a special painting experience for the little/​big sisters of the Girl’s Rising mentorship program, so we reached out to Inspire Studio to see what they could offer. Not only did Jessica give us a great rate to help support our project, but she and her staff also put extra time into crafting a special project for us to fit our unique group of teenage girls and their mentors. Linda did an excellent job of walking us through the project step-​by-​step and helping every girl express her own creativity. It was a very special day for those involved. I cannot say enough good things about Inspire Studio!!! Thank you.

Thank you Inspire SD Studio-​Jessica and LaShawn! You both were so friendly, professional and fun! I hosted a fund raiser, for the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimers on October 18th at Balboa Park, in my back yard. We had 9 painters and everyone had a great time! Everyone was amazed at how easy it was to follow the instructions and actually paint something that was beautiful and fun! We were able to raise over $ 100 for the walk!

I have taken several classes from Linda through Inspire SD Studio, and I can’t say enough about how much I learned from her, and how fun she makes her classes! In the art book sketching class she gave us instructions, and then we went out into Old Town and sketched. She encouraged us, and at the same time did not let us stop to critique what we were doing so that our progress would be impeded. I went home with something I was proud of, and feeling like I had a great time while in the class and at the same time felt that I had learned enough to keep going with my sketching.
Linda puts her whole heart into her teaching, and is also a very talented artist!

My friend and I just used a LivingSocial deal for the Pet Art class today and we really enjoyed it. The instructors Linnea and Jessica gave clear instructions and were super helpful. There were a couple of other staff as well so there was plenty of help. I haven’t painted in a long time so it was nice to have a simple and fun project where it is hard to go wrong. It was held in Balboa Park, always lovely, with canopies for shade. The three hours flew by and I was glad it wasn’t any shorter. I look forward to trying another class!

UH-​MAZE-​ING! I can not say enough good things about Jessica and Inspire SD Studio! She and Vicky gave our non-​profit group of deployed spouses an AFFORDABLE evening of art and fun!
