Express Fix

David is awesome. He installed and trained us on our La Marzocco espresso machine. He’s patient and knowledgeable. We had an inspection to open and although he’s located far from our shop he worked us into his busy schedule. Whenever we have questions he’s easy to reach and has great communication skills. Can’t say enough good things about Express Fix, we highly recommend!

Simply put, my machine works better now since Express Fix worked on it, than when I bought it. I have owned an Expobar Office Lever for going on four years…
When the water softener filter leaked the pellets were sucked into the machine and melted in the pump and water lines. David and his team were able to get it cleaned out, replaced some worn out parts and offered some coffee making tips. My shots are now better than ever (honestly) and I don’t have to use the faulty ($ 20-​every-​three-​months) cartridges any longer. Even my wife claims her morning latte’s taste better.
David’s rates are competitive, he returns calls promptly, and the bench times run about three weeks. I would recommend him in a second.

Dave has fixed our Brewtus numerous times, always without a hitch. or told us when it didn’t need fixing even though it looked to me like something was ‘broken’. Best business all around at what they do! Only complaint is they take a bit long due to their increased business as of late — this is something David must address before it affects them negatively.

Retrieved my espresso machine from Express Fix a couple days ago. Hadn’t had a cappuccino since the machine was packed up in San Francisco in early April. It was in sad shape after being damaged during a recent move to San Diego. (The packing crew neglected to drain the reservoir and then packed it on its side in the box. Duh.) It blew steam from corroded valves and reeked of mold. (Insert sad, caffeine-​free face.)
Fortunately, I was referred to Dave Martin and his company, Express Fix. His skilled and conscientious team quickly diagnosed and fixed the problems. The machine looks and functions like the day I first bought it. New parts where it matters. Cleaned and polished. It’s a beautiful sight!

Dave has not closed. I think he has only moved. Next espresso machine I buy, I will do it through him. He is very professional and on top of things. He gave me an estimate for the repairs because the grinder portion of my machine was broken but it was still under warrantee. This was a small home machine. So he will do service for big clients such as businesses and small personal home machines as well. He’s the only one in town that I’m aware of that does both.

Dave is a great tech. He’s been doing work for my company the past couple years. He is honest, reliable and knows his stuff. He has been a tremendous help in keeping our stuff running efficiently and properly.

If you own a commercial grade espresso machine, sooner or later it will break down. David from Express Fix came to my home, and fixed my Nuovo Simonelli Mac 3000S.
