Awful experience! Anisa was unprofessional at almost every turn from not greeting me in emails to not responding to calls and emails regarding status during the day of closing.
Being a first time home buyer, I needed a bit more handholding from everyone involved in this process and thankfully I had a great team on my side but I would not recommend this company to even the most experienced purchaser.
They miscalculated the money escrow needed and it would have gone unnoticed I’m sure had I not scrutinized every line of charges.
Do yourself a favor and find a different escrow company to work with.

Horrible experience. Chicago title company lost significant and important financial disclosures ‘in the shuffle’ until I came in for closing. Caused delay of closing by another week. Then I was told the title agent had suddenly quit and I was moved to another agent which didn’t know about the transaction. Deductions were missed from the settlement papers which I had to have resolved at closing.
Chicago Title then tried to keep my ‘escrow holdback’ money, telling me that it had already been refunded although the accounting papers I had received clearly stated otherwise. They finally reviewed my paperwork and refunded the money… Watch out if these people are your title agency.

Real nice people here… I am in the middle of a sale of a condo and had to stop in to sign a few papers. The fab chica at the front desk is very welcoming.
They weren’t quite ready for me when I arrived so they invited me to wait and offered me something to drink. In general these types of visits can pretty dang boring, but at least they make you feel welcome and comfortable!
