Best For Less Comedy Traffic School

So, I totally procrastinated on getting it together to take care of my traffic ticket (just an illegal U-​Turn, I wasn’t evading arrest or anything), and I ended up with less than a week to get it done. I called Randy at Best 4 Less on a Thursday, and he set me up in Santee for an all-​day class on Saturday! Even better, they give you your certificate right at the end of class, so you don’t even have to bite your nails waiting for the mail to come.
I have been to a «comedy» traffic school before, but the only comedy was how pathetic the instructor looked while conducting class in a chicken suit. (No lie.) We all felt sorry for him.
Anyway, the Santee instructor, Maria «Cookies» Gomez, isn’t a comedian, but she’s very energetic and outgoing. She made traffic school almost pleasurable. The class itself was a mix of a few videos (maybe 30 min worth), class participation, Jeopardy games, Pictionary with traffic signs, and discussion groups that might have been fun if we weren’t talking about how many people die from DUIs. (I did learn that you can get a DUI on a Razr Scooter, even if it doesn’t have a motor. Take note, Scooter scooters!)
The class ran from 8 – 4, with 2 10 minute breaks and a 45 minute lunch. Legally, she can’t let anyone out early, but it takes a little while to fill out everyone’s certificate. I was home in PB by 4pm.
