Altrue Tech was my solution! In big box stores, your computer is checked in with a blank look and some canned speech. Altrue Tech was refreshingly receptive to my need for a quick turnaround. He expertly estimated the problem and resolved it as he said he would! I have no complaints so I highly recommend this company.

Yikes! This is a very bizarre story… David contacted me around the holidays and told me that he was a IT guy and that he works on computer networks and pc’s. He seemed to be knowledgeable in the field and Wow, imagine that my computer just got a very serious virus a couple of days before. The timing was just too perfect. At the time, I remember thinking that it was too odd, and I don’t usually use people that reach out to me like that, but, I really needed my computer back to type invoices and contracts so I went ahead and did it. The repair was short lived and I had to have him fix it again not to long afterwards. He is a distant person, I tried to engage him a few times to see what he is about (it is very personal, we keep everything on our computers) but he comes across heavily sedated. My life had been hectic, my work consumes me… buried in work and planning and going on 3 multi-​national journeys in the last year; I just went with the flow. I started to notice things that were very bizarre, like my phone and my computer both freezing at the same time, my phone signal is always full bars but it doesn’t ever get reception… and there is clicking and static on the line as well as a strange humming. My computer is slower than dirt, yet I have the fastest internet connection.
I buy a new cell phone and it is good for a couple of days then it starts again.
David while working on my computer turned on the remote assistance setting, which is something that I would make sure is definitely always off. I gave him my password for my windows which like many people, use the same one for email and other accounts. I could no longer sign into certain accts and my facebook was signed into by someone else, my messages are not being delivered. I began to have a serious issue with security, both online and in real life. My truck was broken into and someone attempted to be cash a forged check at a local bank, a month later someone cloned my CC and was trying to make a purchase. I don’t know if he knew anything about that but, it got me on edge, prompting me to be more vigilant. I went through a break up after a very long term relationship… So that I could have closure, I changed the locks and installed a security system. I told David that my computer had been hacked and that I wanted him to sweep it for bugs, if he could see if someone was still connected to my pc (I was in denial that he was the one that initiated that change). When he met me at my house to get the laptop he was early, so he followed me into the house. When I disarmed the security alarm he was literally over my shoulder watching what I punched into the screen! I’ve never seen anyone ever do that. I was really shocked to say the least.
I hired a company to install security cameras because I had an issue with trespassing and someone lurking in the back and sides of my house. The landscaping was all smashed down
and pots had been moved, someone went to the trouble of gathering up softball sized rocks and stacking them on the side of the house. I took some pictures with my cell phone. The guy that was doing the install had some questions on the router, he couldn’t get through and on (surprise surprise) because David had secured it the day before. He told me that he could install the system himself and it would be a superior system. He got started the next morning but wasn’t putting the cameras where I wanted them. He very begrudgingly moved it but was fighting me the whole time. Some guy showed up to help him, and I heard them whispering. I was taking off for work so I decided to put on my little recorder (which happened to have some important biz conversations on it) I left for work and came back a couple of hours later… they had opened my fully detached studio in the back, completely rearranged the furniture that I had back there and had gone through my bedroom as well! Neither of those are areas where work was to be done… at all! I asked him why, and he said that he needed to borrow my tools. I asked what happened to my furniture and they said that they thought «it was more comfortable»! Huh? What???
I went in the house and went for the tape recorder… IT WAS GONE!
I looked everywhere, Gone! He denied it
Since there was so much weird stuff happening I let him finish the install. When he went to show me how to use it on the computer, I went to advance settings and he had about 6 different people linked into my account!!! WTF? And then he had a temper tantrum when I told him that I wanted to be the only one that had access he got all defensive and rude.
I realized at this time that some of the pictures I took in the backyard are in fact of him! Imagine how your head would reel! I’m not going to lay out all my cards here… but he continually would «down» my system remotely, then I’d see the motion sensor lights go off. At 11PM that nite he came back to my place and tried to go in the back yard! I’m really at a loss for words which is rare for me.

David is a liar and a joke. Yes he can make a website look good for the consumer but he does not know code. He can not make a website look good to the search engines. Every website he designs is very substandard when it comes to the coding. I spoke with him about designing a website and then spoke with several other companies. David is over priced for something he can not follow through with. Anyone who gets a website through David is very lucky if their business is not blacklisted from the internet due to his neglect.

I have worked with David for a number of years now and he really knows what he’s doing! Regardless of the problems I’ve run into, he always finds a way to solve my Computer and Audio needs. This has been very helpful for my business to stay up and running. I highly recommend this service!

David was recommended to me by a friend at church. My laptop was acting funny and after weeks of frustration, I decided to have someone look at it. David did such a great job on my business website. He created the site that I had envisioned in my head. He listened to what I wanted and made everything super appealing and easy to navigate. I love it!
