very helpful, not to mention patient, associates. they put up with my numerous questions, requests to try on a few shirts while only purchasing two. if any item is out of stock they will have your desired item delivered to you in a couple of days. the only downfall of this location is the lack of a café!

Great service before and after the sale. The clothes are priced higher than most but they fit and don’t wear out or fade as quickly as cheaper clothes often do. I feel comfortable when I’m in there.

This review is long overdue but wanted to give a shout out to Joanne that works here. She is so patient and sweet — it’s always a pleasure to work with her. My husband is a big Tommy Bahama fan so we’ve shopped here quite a bit over the last few years. He loves the polo shirts and other casual wear here.
We are known to stumble in on Sunday afternoons and we’ve worked with Joanne numerous times. She knows us by name and knows exactly what my husbands style is. We went in last weekend to pick up a few items and seeing her there reminded me that I needed to update my review.
We also heard the great news that she got promoted as Store Manager. A title and position that is well deserved. If you come in, hopefully Joanne is working and she’ll be able to help you out.
Thanks for all your help, Joanne. You are amazing and such a pleasure to work with. We’ll see soon on a Sunday afternoon, i’m sure!

My sister loves to say: «I never met a Mike I didn’t like». I don’t know if that really holds true for me, but I really like the Mike that works at Tommy Bahama in La Jolla.
My sister and I were at Fashion Valley and wanted a sweater that the TB there was out of. They called and put it on hold in La Jolla. When we arrived at La Jolla Mike brought out the sweater and offered to steam it because it had been put on a hanger (never hang up your sweaters, people!). As we started to look around, Mike was very helpful without being overpowering. He helped us find sizes and pick out colors. He also gift wrapped everything beautifully, remembering to take off all the tags.
Tommy Bahama is expensive, but the clothes are of good quality and last forever. They also have great gift items like candles and coasters and I really like some of their perfumes. This TB though is definitely worth checking out for the fantastic service.

My boyfriend needed a fashion make over, we’ ve been dating for few months now & its time to let go of those «local surf shop Tees» & wear something nice. I thought I would jump start his fashion with a visit to Tommy Bahama.
It seemed like I was on a mission, how can I get him something nice while still maintain that beachy life style that we both enjoy.
The sales folks were helpful but maybe a little pushy? You walk out of there with well over $ 100 but with a quality piece of clothing that would last for a while
