History

Established in 1999.

Growing up in suburban Chicago, Daina’s passion for cooking began when her mom gave her the gift of her first cookbook at a young age. She moved to San Diego in 1984, where some of her first jobs were cooking in the galleys of several fishing boats, bay cruisers and charter boats. What a gas! This former landlubber took to the seas with gusto! Later, in 1999, she created The Kitchen Goddess, a catering company. Graced with such prestigious clients as Drew Ford, KSWB and others, TKG was off to a great start.

Fast forward to the present day — it is Daina’s mission to show you how simple and easy it is to create your own healthy, delicious masterpieces without years of professional schooling.
