Sydnee’s Pet Grooming is the largest, little grooming salon in San Diego County, styling 13,000 furry pets every year! We are also home of the very popular furry facials!

We take extra special CARE to make sure we treat each and every pet like they are one of ours. When you visit our grooming shop or using our mobile service, expect for you and your pet to feel welcomed and comfortable. Our friendly, knowledgeable groomers will help you find the right grooming style and shampoo unique to your dogs’ needs. C.C. fell upon grooming after College where she pursued Fine arts. Animals were a huge part of her life growing up «Life seems a little empty without loving and caring for pets». She got the opportunity to learn grooming skills under a 30 year experienced mentor. The combination of creativity and caring for pets is where she found her calling. C.C. has 10 year pet CARE service in the La Jolla area. She is parent to 8 year old pug named Tito.

I just adopted my min pin mix, and she needed to get her nails clipped, her anal glands expressed, and a good scrubbing. Since I just adopted her, I was a little nervous giving her to just any groomer’s. When I picked her up, she was fresh and clean, and they even put a cute little bandana on her. The groomers did a great job taking care of her, and she didn’t seem sad or distraught when I picked her up. Definitely will come back!

Just had our 13.5 year old blind Shih Tzu groomed here. Got an appointment the day I called and our dog was ready in less than 2 hours. Staff is very friendly and caring. We are just visiting but if we lived here full time I would surely return. Great grooming at a reasonable price. Many thanks!

Where do I start… I’ve been taking my Yorkie at this location for about seven months and all I have to say is that they do magic here. My dog always comes out looking so polished. They trim her nails perfectly, they cut her hair so nice and even and the facility is so clean, and what I love the most is that they groom the dogs in front so you always see them they don’t hide them in the back like other places. All the girls there are amazing they are all so talented, especially Mallory she has a little magic hands. Each dog has a customized cut just for them. They are so patient kind and loving to all the dogs that come in to the shop. They provide them with fresh water and treats. The shop also retails all natural dog treats and shampoos/​conditioners which are great products! Cici, which is the owner is so kind and they always listen to the customers requests. Come and check them out! You won’t regret it!

Love this place, and all the ladies who work there. They love what they are doing; it’s obvious. Also, I appreciate that my dog doesn’t have to be in a cage once she has been groomed. Added bonus: Within the first two weeks of having a foster dog (I foster for an animal rescue group), Sydnee’s Pet Grooming in BirdRock will bath and groom my foster dog for FREE. It’s their way of «giving back» to the homeless animals of San Diego. How great is that?!!

CC groomed my Portuguese Water Dog yesterday and did a terrific job. It was the first time she had worked on Rennie and the result was terrific. I loved the fact that the dog was not confined to a kennel while she waited. The shop was clean, all the dogs appeared to be calm and happy. We will definitely be repeat customers.

YAY for Max! After 2 years of horrible experiences at various groomers in San Diego my dog Max finally got a nice haircut. He had suffered thru nipple maming, horrendous nicks and cuts, shaved off eyebrows and a donald trump comb over i kid you not!
Mallorie was his groomer and she was very nice and did a great job. I forgot the name of the nice lady on the desk, but she was very gracious and professional. All around great experience. For the first time he came home looking happy and quite dapper I might add;). Definitely will return!!!

Nice people, but double check your pet for fleas. I found some red spots + a live flea on my dog. I called them the next day and they took my dog back for a flea bath on the house. Other than that, they have awesome customer services. It is out of the way for me and I’ll think about using them again.

I have been go several pet groomers throughout the years and I happy to say this location is the best I’ve experienced. I have 3 small dogs. 2 of them are ok with grooming, but my older pup has extreme anxiety and has required sedation in the past. I brought them here and hoped for the best. The groomers were able to groom all 3 and the grumpy pup was also groomed no sedation needed. This shows me that this team has awesome patience and an amazing ability to work with the easy pups as well as my high maintenance one. Great experience overall!
Plus, they also put a little bandana on them when I got there– so freaking cute!

Left a cotton ball in my dog’s ear and had to take her to the emergency clinic for an ear infection. This is my third time taking my dog to Sydnee’s. I really like the place because it is close to my house and the employees are always very friendly. Unfortunately, after this last visit I noticed my dog was shaking her head a lot, scratching her ear and even cried a few times when we were scratching her head. Over the next three days the symptoms got much worse and when her ear started oozing on her bed I took her to the 24 hour clinic over 4th of July weekend. After an examination where she continued to cry, the doctor took her to the back to use a scope to see if anything was wrong with her ear drum and she pulled out a dirty wet cotton ball deep in ear canal. It makes me so sad that my dog was suffering. I really liked Sydnee’s but won’t be taking my dog back.

Sydnees pet grooming is an amazing dog grooming salon! Louis, my maltipoo, keeps getting compliments about his hair cut to the point I feel like I need to put an advertisement on him. Although it is a lot more pricier than other dog groomers I have been to and the wait time goes up to (3 – 4 hours), the price is worth it when you look at the final product and how happy he is getting his hair done here. I was so surprised when I walked in a little early and he was look so content getting his hair brushed out. Also, it’s not too bad waiting for so long since I get to go to birdrock coffee roasters right next door to do some studying!

What great service! My dogs are soft and clean. They were very accommodating with my dogs who are allergic to many things including fragrances. They were bathed in a hypo-​allergenic shampoo, had their nails trimmed, ears cleaned, brushed, and facial scrub. The service took about an hour and a half like they said it would. Very pleased with the results. Definitely be back.

I took my dog here to get groomed for the first time and I loved the outcome! The service is great, they listen to what you want and took good care of my dog. She doesn’t do good at groomers and usually when I pick her up she is all frazzled. But she was calm and happy when I picked her up from Sydnee’s. I was also happy because I scheduled the appointment last minute and they got me in right away! I’ll definitely be going back

I took my 6 month old malti poo puppy here after another salon butchered her hair. I asked them to even it out and to cut off half of her hair length. They were so gentle with baby Stella knowing she gets anxious when she’s away from me. After they were finished they sent me a picture of her in case I wanted any adjustments made. I picked her up and she was so white, fluffy (yet skinny with her new short hair) and had a feather and bandana fixed onto her. Apparently she was an angel when they did her hair! I think only because they made Stella feel comfortable. Thanks so much ladies! We will be back in six weeks :)

I think I am more picky about my dog’s hair than my own. It is rare I love his haircut, well not anymore. I am so glad this shop opened up in my neighborhood. CeCe and Malorie do a fabulous job with Sunny. Every time I am in there, they are gentle with the dogs. I hate when I go to groomers and I see them yanking at a dog’s hair while the dog is already scared and whimpering. They love what they do and it is apparent in their work. I definitely recommend taking your dog here.

I’ve been taking my pups to CeCi for over a year now and she is thee best! She is so attentive to what you ask her to do and my dogs (schnoodle and havanese) always look amazing! Plus, they are always so happy after being there because I know they’re getting the best care. If you’re looking for a great groomer — look no further Ceci is it!

I’ve been going to CC for years, but when we moved away from the beach we took our husky, Nika, somewhere closer to home. Biggest mistake! No one takes care of Nika like CC and her amazing staff! I will never go to anyone else. Our dog sheds so much and she always comes back looking like a new gal when we take her to CC. She even smelt like lavender! Totally worth the 30 min drive, not to mention the new location has an amazing view!

After looking for the perfect groomer for my fur baby Gwen I found Cici who made Gwen look amazing when I picked her up. Cici listens to what your looking for and works her magic. Gwen looks like a stuffed animal every time I pick her up. Cici is the BEST groomer in SD there is no doubt about that. Thank you for making going to the groomer easy and enjoyable for us!

A welcoming staff greeted my service dog and I for the second time in as many weeks. We decided to come back because Cici and Kristina listened to every bit of information I gave them about my 90 pound pup. Put it this way, all of Raydar’s commands are in German and the entire staff took the time to research the language so they could better communicate with him. I do not consider that customer service, but rather a friend caring for something that is very special to me.
