Business Owner

Rica’s owner Erica attended The Bishops School in La Jolla where she now lives with her family. She graduated from USC with a BA in Communication and spent 3yrs working for big names in the entertainment and fashion industry. She left that amazing world to pursue her dream of opening up her own boutique and went back to school to earn her MBA from Loyola Marymount University while working at a boutique in Manhattan Beach. After getting all of the education and experience needed to make her dream a reality she moved back to San Diego and is watching her dreams unfold with Rica.

I LOVE this shop! I always have a great experience shopping here and never leave empty handed. Some of my favorite pieces in my closet are from Rica.
Excellent customer service. Most of the time, Erica, the owner has been there during my shopping excursions to Rica. She and her staff always give great suggestions and feedback, which is important to me when I shop because I can be indecisive on my own. :)
Prices are very reasonable and turnover is fast, I can always expect to find new inventory even if I was just in a few weeks before.
I work down the street and love popping by the store to find something fun and original. If you are looking for a cute trendy outfit for a night out, a stylish and comfy t-​shirt, great lingerie, a new statement necklace and a lot of fun accessories… you have come to the right place!
I can’t wait to check out Rica’s new location!

I was not happy with their customer service. I just tried to return a pair of shoes that were still in perfect condition. It was only 7 days past their exchange or store credit policy. I’m a local in la Jolla and shop quite often and most places would make an exception in order to keep a customer. The owner did not. I even recommended this place to my other friends in the area but will tell them about my experience to make sure they don’t go here. I was turned off that they wouldn’t return a mere $ 100 pair shoe to lose a customer and word of mouth referral. Because of my experience I would not come back. You should shop at van de vort in del mar or even Lola’s next door to rica.

This store is SUPER CUTE! Great buys, great assortment of clothes! Erica (owner) and staff are great to work with and so friendly. Which, in my opinion is so important!
I work nearby so I can always count on going by once a week (sorry wallet) and find something different cute to wear for the weekend. As she is always getting in new stuff!
Great prices on dresses, shorts, tops, & jewelry! I can easily pick a few super cute things out and still be under $ 100 when I leave. La Jolla NEEDED a place like this for so long. Thanks Erica for finally opening an affordable yet adorable boutique!

Just moved to La Jolla from San Francisco this month. post pedicure I was shopping around for a cute dress to wear to Palm Springs. Viola~ I popped my head in here. Lovely girls working, one was the owner! gave great suggestions and had friendly conversations. ran into another transplant, too!
It is a reasonably priced shop with a variety of cuteness and really great service! I will definitely stop by again! Loved the dress and belt I got~ all for a song:)
