Pure Perfection

TASHYA. One word. She is the reason it is called pure perfection. She’s witty and spunky and she doesn’t get her own jokes but she’s ridiculously amazing. I came in with my hair dark black and came out with a Carmel color with tons of light blonde highlights which is what I want as an end result. I didn’t expect to get this much progress in one sitting. She won’t let you walk out of the salon looking anything but good. I refer her to anyone and everyone with all type of hairs. She works wonders and has tons of professional experience. Go see her. You won’t regret it. She’s worth every penny. Thanks a bunch Tashya!

Tashya is very knowledgeable when it comes to her staying up to date with styles and keeping up with the times. She made some amazing recommendations to enhance my natural features and i couldn’t be more happy with my hair. Its nice to finally come across someone who listens and who is trustworthy. She and I had a great time laughing and I thought her prices were affordable being that she’s an educator. Thanks TASH for send some hair love to my head! MUAH

My husband bought a package of spa services from
and I was determined to find a great hair stylist. And I did at Pure Perfection! Tashya is very experienced you can tell right away. I was a little hesitant to mention the Elivelife certificate when I called to schedule my appointment because some business treat new clients different as we are not paying the ‘full’ service fees. Tashya asked how did I hear about Pure Perfection so I had to say thru Elivelife, I was waiting for her to tell me that her 1^st available apt. was going to be a month out or something but she sounded so pleasant and got me in the very same week.
The day of my appt. she asked the right questions: What do like about your current hair style? what is not working out for you? etc. etc. she listened and suggested a starting point then we worked further from there. When she was done, she asked again if I was happy and if I wanted her to change anything and I did, I had her cut a bit more layers on my hair and she didn’t seem to mind at all. Tashya carried a great helpful attitude during the whole time.
Her studio is a cozy small space that could use some decluttering and dusting but other then that small remark, I will go see her again and I will be happy to pay full price on my next visit!
Did I mentioned she poured me some red wine during my visit :-D

Tashya was great, from returning calls promptly, confirming the appointment, listening to what I wanted and actually delivering on it! The (big!) glass of wine was also a very nice touch. The color looks great, though I have yet to see how the cut looks once I’ve washed it and my super sleek strands return their usual kinky wrinkly texture.
I docked one star for the location — it’s way down in Birdrock, almost to PB, and it took me 20+ minutes just to get home to North Park. Also, the salon is a little strange: it’s a hallway with individual «cubby“s with sliding glass doors. Each cubby is it’s own salon with one sink and one chair.

Tashya is the $h!t.
I have never gotten a bad haircut from her, and I was referred to her by a friend a couple years ago after the stylist I was going to moved north. She is awesome. Be prepared for total honesty too — she has too much integrity to give you a haircut that is completely wrong for your face or hair texture, and she will not let you leave her salon unless you look fantastic.

I’ve been going to visit Tashya for haircuts for a little over a year now, and she always does an amazing job with my hair! My hair is really long and thick, which can make for some difficulties in cutting, but Tashya does it without any problems whatsoever. It’s very comforting knowing I can visit her and I don’t have to worry about a thing :)
I actually converted my husband over to her services as well — he had been going to Fantastic Sam’s, but when his favorite person left he tried Tashya. Well… he’s never going back to Fantastic Sam’s, that’s for sure! :)
Additionally, Tashya did both my hair and make-​up for my wedding and both were STUNNING! My hair pretty much stayed up for the entire time (again, difficult feat for my hair) and my make-​up stayed on so long and was FLAWLESS. I could not be happier with how it turned out and definitely recommend Tashya for your hair and make-​up. She did it for a very reasonable price as well, without charging for travel in San Diego!

Tashya is Awesome! I was referred to her by a friend for hair and make-​up on my wedding day. We clicked as soon as we met. She is very sweet and professional. Her rates are very comparable as well. I had my trial run with her & was very impressed on the job she did with both hair and make-​up. I went ahead and booked her on the spot. She was so easy to work with regarding everything and very flexible with the time schedule on my big day. I would recommend her to everyone! If it’s just for a night out or your special day, she is the Best!
