I liked that their workouts were geared toward people of all skill levels — previously, I had been going to Club Pilates in PB but didn’t like how only the most difficult classes were available in the evenings during after-work hours. Pilates of La Jolla is great because each workout is tailored to the group in attendance each class!

I am enjoying the Pilates classes! It is super addicting and the results are amazing. I like Jake and Nicole. Jake is very hands on and funny. He does chat a lot during class but I love it… it takes my mind away from the tough workout.

Very interesting experience. Their machines are older then club or pilates room and class environment is very different. Jake is very nice and knows all his students. The only down side is the teacher and the students sometimes chat a bit too much in class and jake is usually late for the mission hill studio classes.

This was my first Pilates class ever and I loved it! I went to the La Jolla studio and Jake was the instructor. The class size is small, so you get some personal attention, which is great when you are new. I’m a runner and swimmer but I don’t do well in the gym. Pilates seems like a great way to tone and strengthen for people who hate the gym. Today my gluts and abs are so sore — I love it! I will definitely be getting the unlimited monthly membership!

Jake and his instructors conduct excellent group reformer pilates classes. The classes are well taught and as a fitness obsessed physician I find the instructors very knowledgeable. Studio has 8 reformer machines and there are usually 4 – 6 people in each class, so preregistration is not necessary.
