Opulent Auto Detail

I tried a Living Social deal and was VERY disappointed. First, I wanted a mobile detail but was informed that only drop off was available for the parking garage where other mobile detailers have provided services to me in the past.
I arrived for my 8 am appointment a little after 8 because there’s no sign, the address is obscured by vines. Even with GPS, I passed it 3 times before I could find it.
I rang the bell and waited. .and waited. Finally, I called the Opulent Detail number at 8:19 and got a message that calls were not being accepted. I couldn’t believe that so I tried again, same message.
I left, and then received an email claiming that I had been 20 min late. I tried to call, still got the recording and turned around.
When I arrived, the man who finally answered the door informed me that it was too late to complete my service as he had another appointment.
I let him know that I will be requesting a refund and posting this review. He promptly let me know that I would hear from his lawyer with a suit for malicious review. I am posting a factual review here.
As I was turning around in his tight driveway, he yelled at me that I had better not hit his car. After I successfully got around the car, he jumped behind me as I was backing up and I had to slam my brakes to avoid hitting him. When I told him it wasn’t going to work if he’s trying to get hit by my car and sue me for that also, he said «I’m just trying to talk to you » I was finally turned around and able to pull out of his driveway and let him know that the conversation ended when he threatened me with his lawyer.
Oh, dear. As I finish this review, I see that he’s left me a voice mail message lecturing me about being late. Since he has my cell number, I wonder why he didn’t just call to see if I was having trouble finding the location when I didn’t arrive promptly at 8 am
Honestly, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had using deal coupons!

Today Opulent made good on a promise and detailed my car. They did and awesome job and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Opulent, you have definitely earned my respect and future business.

I wouldn’t trust anyone else to detail my car. These guys are the real deal! They are very knowledgeable and explain everything to you if you ask them. They have detailed two of my cars now and I am absolutely thrilled! I drive for Über so it is a MUST that my car looks good. After Opulent detail came to my house though, my car looks BRAND NEW! My clients constantly ask me if my car is new and it’s all thanks to Opulent! Do YOURSELF a favor and call them today!

Bought a coupon and tried to schedule an appt over 3 days and never heard back. I called multiple times, both numbers, and left a message on the one number that takes messages, emailed and have never heard back. Thankfully I was able to get a refund. I wish I could’ve gotten an appointment scheduled but had to get a refund before my 3 days expired. I didn’t want LS bucks.

It took some time to coordinate an appointment but it was well worth it. They were on time and finished early. My Venza looks brand spankin new! I can’t stop staring at it.lol. Excellent job! I would absolutely recommend Opulent.

We have a 2010 Lexus that is starting to show lines across the seats pretty badly from dirt/​wear and tear. We have the «finish touch» coverage through Lexus. We took it there this week with complaints that the sealant isn’t doing its job… They sent it into their detailer, only returning it in basically the same exact way claiming there’s nothing else that could be done to improve the seats. I called Oppulent. They came out and my seats literally look brand new, I am shocked and so happy I called them! Thank you again Meghan for your hard work and once again your attention to detail that made my car truly shine! The pictures are absolute proof their product, techniques and skill beat out the dealers contacts under their «protection agreement» save your money and hire Oppulent a couple times a year for the same price and much better results!

Opulent’s owner Robert was very professional and offered to give me a detail the following week, even with Groupon having given me a refund. They did a fantastic job, even driving to my work in Point Loma to pick up my car. I am really impressed with the customer service and would definitely recommend using them.

Found their services on Groupon and was able to customize one of their packages for my 1997 Ford Mustang GT which had swirls and minor scratches. After four hours of interior and exterior detailing by both Robert and his partner, my car looked fantastic. Many of the flaws had been taken out or greatly minimized. Interior was meticulously cleaned including the leather seats which really needed it. Since I have had the work done, I was parking my car in downtown Escondido and a man said to me, «Man, that’s a clean looking Mustang, what year is it?» Enough said right there…

I don’t dole out 5 stars or frankly even offer many reviews, but this crew deserved it. I had two vehicles done at the same time… both of which now look brand new.
Opulent made setting up the appointment a breeze. And they were exactly on time. They worked *really* hard to get the work done, and didn’t stop until everything was finished. I had a few significant scrapes that looked to be permanent. But after the job was done, you couldn’t see a thing.
Definitely would highly recommend them. You wont regret the price, professionalism, and people of Opulent.

I haven’t got my SUV done yet, BUT the great customer service that I’ve gotten so far is to write about. I originally found these guys on GroupOn and compared them and the reviews of the other detailers. What sold me were the reviews and the pictures from all the happy customers.
I contacted Robert and he provided all the information regarding their 3 different detail services (Revitalize, Rejuvenate, Purify & Detox). His professionalism and quick response has me excited to get my QX4 some TLC in preparation for the arrival of our son in Nov.

I HIGHLY recommend this business. They showed up earlier than my scheduled appointment, ready to get to work. They do «EXCELLENT» work. I couldn’t believe how beautiful my wife’s Lexus SUV looked after they completed it. Inside and out was so clean, especially the inside. They removed dirt and stains that I thought wouldn’t come out. And they had so many different supplies to use. We are very pleased with their work and will be using them in the future. Thanks Opulent.

These guys are the best. Not only did my 2000 Camry look amazing right after they detailed it three months ago but it still looks fantastic. I have had the car detailed by others over the years but none have compared with what Opulent Auto Detail did.
I would recommend them to anyone.

A little difficult at first to get a hold of, but once I did, it was great! Christian arrived on time and was very professional. I warned him that I do not take care of my car regarding washing, cleaning the interior, etc. He told me not to worry cause he has seen it all. Well, 3 hours later and my phone rings and he is done! I think my car looked better than the day I purchased it! I could not stop smiling! My cheeks hurt. Now, lets see if this gives me the incentive to keep it that way… doubt it, but one can only hope!

My Lexus has desperately needed some TLC and with having a hectic schedule it was very convenient to have Opulent come to my home. I booked a last minute appointment and they were extremely flexible and accommodating. I am very pleased with the results and I feel so proud to be driving this car now!

Wow! My car looks new again!!!
Christian arrived promptly at my house and diligently worked on my car for 2.5 hours. My rims sparkle, my upholstery looks great (no sign of those ugly sunscreen smudges), and everything is so clean!
Best of all the appointment was easy to schedule and e-​reminders were sent beforehand. I was feeling bad about my car and how I had been abusing it between Home Depot runs and road trips, but it looks new again! Highly recommend!

Great experience with this company. Easy and responsive in setting the appointment (despite what has likely been an overwhelming response from various online deals they’ve sold), and they showed up on time. Like someone else mentioned, they needed very little from me, and when they were done a couple hours later my car seriously looked like new!

I was very pleased with Opulent and their service. They came to my house on time, picked up my car and dropped it off on time. They did a thorough job and had it shiny!
The only thing I would say is that they should clarify and communicate the price when making the appointment rather than the day off (ex: mini SUVs)

Great prompt service. 3 guys spent nearly two hours on my car. Very courteous and self-​sustaining, they did not need much from me. I would use them again!
