Matt is THE MAN!!! He totally knows his stuff, has a great personality, is quick, and he saved me $ 1800 on my taxes! I’m self-​employed and have been filing my own taxes for 6 years. I’m also an attorney so I’m a real smarty pants and have a hard time giving over control to other people. Well, turns out I am not an expert in taxes (duh) and I should have consulted with a professional a long time ago and taken a whole load of stress and work off my own plate (and probably saved a ton of money while I was at it). Matt knows what numbers are «normal» for your industry and what you do and don’t need receipts for. From what I can see, he plays by the rules, but he uses the whole field. I am SO glad to have found Matt. He’s got a client for life here! Highly recommended.

The only thing good about this man-​child is that he doesn’t need receipts to file your taxes and tries to get you back a lot of money if you’re in the industry… Legally? I’m not sure. He’s definitely entertaining, only because I believe he was on some sort of stimulant during our meeting. Or maybe he was just high on his own (bull)shit.

I receive a letter from the IRS stating they didn’t obtain enough information to process my tax return, where I then try to reach out for help to his office with no luck. After he went AWOL (too «busy» to have a 3 minute conversation with me) for about 2 weeks with persistence on my end and only 20 days to get back to the IRS, I finally get a hold of him. The phone call went something like this,
Me asking for copies of my W-​2 (which I had already asked for days ago with no reply from his assistant) asking him to help finish the job I paid him to complete without raising my voice or jumping to conclusions.
Him then raising his voice at me with a teenagers attitude saying I’m being extremely rude for holding up his phone lines and filling his inbox with emails, that I need to never call his office again and to stop bothering his assistants and as I try to explain the situation for someone at the level of an imbecile, he hangs up the phone.
And as it is clear that I am angered now I promise that during the phone call I never got on his level, it actually happened so quickly and in such an immature, unprofessional manner I was in real shock most of the «conversation» or lack of.
Clearly wasn’t raised to talk to women with any sort of decency.
