We specialize in making math make sense to all kids whether they want to catch up, keep up or get ahead. Our friendly and talented math tutors are clear and supportive when working with our 1^st-​12^th grade Mathletes. From finger counters to calculus, we help our students master math, Common Core expectations, prepare for tests and complete their homework. How can we help your student?

History

Established in 2015.

Mathnasium and the Mathnasium Method have been successfully educating students for over thirty years. We focus on quality instruction by incorporating number sense, proportional reasoning, working with wholes and parts and other structures that build students into superior problem solvers and critical thinkers in math. Our staff is comprised of seasoned math professionals who work independently with your child to meet their learning goal.

Business Owner

Karen has been a teacher, math curriculum writer and elementary administrator prior to opening up a Mathnasium Math Learning Center. She is passionate about kids liking and understanding the subject so they keep all doors open for a successful future. She and her team of instructors look forward to making an impact of the Mathletes of La Jolla.
