I LOVE Jessie! And think this is a pretty good story…
I was traumatized as a kid! My mom would have the worst ideas on what to do with my hair, like oh yah «cut it all offf» or «perm it» … IDK. but it was pretty bad. Everywhere I went people always wanted to cut my hair short! NO!
So, I started doing my own hair since 15 years old. I finally decided that after 10 years of doing this to myself, it was time to grow up and find a hair stylist! So. I had seen pictures of Jessie’s work through friends on Facebook, etc. She had a great record of working with blondes. I am blonde and needed someone who understands my hair.
My first appointment with Jessie was AMAZING! Not only did she get me an appointment in a timely fashion but when I arrived she made me feel SUPER comfortable! :) She consulted with me before she even touched my hair, talking about what I really wanted. I just went in for a cut the first time because I wasn’t ready to give it all up yet :)
The cut was AMAZING and I received numerous compliments about it. The best part is, she didn’t cut it short!!! OMG! She kept all of my length and just jazzed it all up! Superb!
I was so pleased I decided I would hand over the color… Jessie gave me a full highlight that looked Flawless. She blended the blonde so well, no breakage, and again I received numerous compliments on the new color and cut!
NOW I can’t go anywhere else! I am addicted to Hair by Jessie and if you are blonde, or are looking for a new hair stylist. Jessie is the ONE!

Jessie is one of the best stylists I’ve ever met for a few reasons.
1. She genuinely adores her profession. I think even if Jessie won the lottery, she would continue to do hair.
2. Her salon is very inviting, clean and professional. They always offer you water or coffee or anything else you might need.
3. Whenever I leave her salon I feel very happy about myself and my hair. If anything at all bothers me Jessie is always open to talking to me about it and changing it if I need to at all (but that rarely ever happens anyway).
4. Whenever I get my hair done with Jessie, my hair is being complimented all week. Even other hair stylists want to know what techniques she used.
I have referred Jessie countless friends and all of us are extremely happy if not in LOVE with our hair and our stylist.
P. s. If you need hair extensions in San Diego — Jessie uses the BEST hair. I’ve had my hair done by another stylist and had to buy all new hair because it was so tangly and awful. Jessie’s hair is almost awkwardly realistic. I can’t tell you how many times people are like, «You’re hair is so long and pretty, and you don’t even have extensions!» haha… I don’t ever say anything at that point! ;)

Jessie embodies professionalism. I have been a client for many years (5+). I was first introduced to Jessie through a dear friend in Pharmaceutical Sales (who takes much pride in her looks and has a drop dead gorgeous blonde hairstyle) and been seeing her for even longer than I have. I had to know who my friend went to for her gorgeous hair– it is that chic and coiffed. My friend loves Jessie’s work so much she travels a couple of hours from a neighboring city to have Jessie complete her masterpieces (as would I travel back to SD for Jessie, should I ever move)! Not to mention, Jessie is known for her excellence in bringing hair to the best blonde it can be considering the natural hair. Blonde is her specialty! Since having met Jessie, I have been blonde, medium warm brunette and most recently a dark luscious brunette. I loved every style she has given me. I did a Brazillian blow-​out once, and it was also perfection. In all the time she has done my hair, I have never once had anything but top notch experiences. So much so, that I have recommended several other friends to her. She has given them nothing but amazing styles for their hair as well. (Two blondes, one brunette). Jessie only ever does exactly what is asked of her– to the letter. In addition to sharing with you how Jessie’s kind nature and fastidious work and solid work ethic has made me a loyal customer, I’d be willing to talk to you about how wonderful the experience has been to be her client at both The Standard Salon and more recently, at Elle. Jessie has been doing my hair for years and is AMAZING! I have done so many different things to my hair and each time she transforms my hair into something so perfect, my boyfriend even notices :). Not sure who these people are debunking Jessie below me but it is definitely a scam because I have experienced and seen first hand her hair cuts, color, and extensions and they are nothing like what you are describing down there.

Been going for the last two years and every time her cut comes out great! I would recommend Jessie to any guy who wants a good hear cut or has longer hair.

Perfect hair, perfect smile, perfect experience, perfect stylist. Jess makes you the most beautiful version of yourself you can be– all by transforming your hair. I’ve seen it time and time again, she is consistently turning out the most glamorous, wearable, looks on women’s hair. I was finally able to grow my hair below my shoulders with her help since she never overlapps the low-​level lightener = no breakage.
If you are lucky enough to get color and a brazilian blowout (or vegan gloss treatment) with Jess, then you are lucky enough.

Jessie Moran has taken better care of my hair than any other stylist I have had EVER. She is meticulous and talented, but she is also kind and supportive. She really cares about her clients, and it shows. I wanted to get extensions to my thinning hair, but I was unsure about it. The extensions Jessie put into my hair has changed my life! I feel more confident and younger, and no one believes that I have extensions until I show them. The extensions are that subtle and expertly attached. Thanks, Jessie! You are the best!

I have been going to Jessie for 5 years !!! She really cares about her clients, and is passionate about what she does ! She takes her time and never makes me feel like she just rushed through.

I have been seeing Jessie for almost two years and she is with out a doubt a fabulous hair stylist. She is a perfectionist. I never leave the salon without perfect hair.
