Elite Yoga

If I can give 10 s, I would! I absolutely love this studio owned by Alex who is a delight in every way. I have been a member since January, frequenting 5 – 8 classes per week. This is a new thing for me because I used to take a few classes per month over the past few years at various studios, but not loving my practice like I have. I have grown so much because of the excellent instructors here. They all take time to make sure you’re comfortable no matter what level, adjusting you so you benefit from your poses, give you options based on skill level, and offer the support for your growing practice.
My first encounter & Instructor was Alex who is the owner & so adorable. I owe it to her for the passion I now have for yoga! Thank you Alex!!! I’ve take Ashtanga with Melissa every Tuesday pm for over a month, she is amazing to watch & oh so great! This is the most challenging class, so be ready to sweat. Vinyasa flow with Charie & Danielle, the cutest ever. But don’t let them fool you with the cuteness, they will make you work! Arm balance & inversion class with Sabrina who is a ball of energy & graceful athlete, a workshop type class which is one of my faves! Vinyasa 2 with Mike & Alex, challenging, energetic, & fun!!! Gentle flow with Courtney, an excellent stretching class. Yin yoga which is a slower pace class mostly on stretching & staying in poses for longer to break up scar tissue. I can go on and on really. All their instructors are awesome & that is why I continue to come almost everyday, doing back to back classes or even returning later in the day to get my dose of sweat & chi.
Thank you to the family at Elite yoga, yes they are my family whom I adore tremendously. They have made an impact like you can’t ever imagine– in mind, body, & soul. I have lost the stubborn weight I’ve always wanted to, now encouraged to get the bikini body I’ve never had. I love Elite yoga!!!

I feel bad I haven’t review this place yet and I’m there all the time! I found this studio through Groupon in December and have been going ever since! I absolutely love the environment there and every single teacher is so kind and welcoming. It’s the perfect end of the night for me to finish off a stressful work day. They gave me my own mat to keep there since I have a monthly membership which is very convenient and I haven’t had any other studio in the area do the same. I highly recommend this place!

Took a class with Charie the other night (I believe it was Vinyasa for all levels). It was a great class, definitely one of the best ones that I have taken. She is so sweet and she really makes you feel comfortable. She took time to make adjustments on people as needed and she offered other options for poses based on your skill level.
The facility was very nice and clean. We found parking on the street but it is in the Von’s shopping center so you can use that parking lot as well.
They are right next door to Subway so the room smelled kind of funky, but not a huge deal.

I bought the groupon to try this studio for two weeks, and it was a great experience. The studio is very clean and updated, nice bathroom. The yoga room is large and the classes I took were not crowded. Alyssa and Nazli are both teachers I would seek out again, their classes were challenging and varied, had good pacing, and easy to follow transitions.

Such a loving atmosphere! You are welcomed and really made to feel a part of their yoga family. The personalized adjustments really help your form and confidence. The heat is an added calorie scorch bonus and you are constantly challenged. A few times I called in past and no one answered but since I mentioned it has not happened since. Facility is clean, convenient, and I look forward to the next visit.

This place is fabulous! Great people and great yoga! WEY actually cares about you and your experience. Each instructor has a unique style; each wonderful in their own way. And the owner is fabulous!
So glad I found WEY!

Women’s Elite Yoga is truly the best yoga studio I’ve been to! The instructors are incredible and Alex (owner) is a yogi sage! She is a spiritual woman and truly understands the connection between mind, body, spirit. The women who go to this class are some of the most lovely, caring women I know as well. After I leave, I feel exercised and at the same time, that I am leaving the spa! Love love love Women’s Elite Yoga!

I have been going to WEY for a few months now and I have to say I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The studio is very clean and very well thought out. The instructors are attentive, and the owner sums up the whole studio, she makes you feel that you matter and that your health and well being are important to her. She is very attentive and interested in you. All the classes I have taken have been wonderful as well. I can’t recommend this studio enough. I tell all my friends. The classes are perfect for anyone who needs to get themselves in shape.

I bought one month unlimited yoga classes for here. I went there to discuss about their classes and doors were closed! I went again sum other day, same thing! Nobody works at front desk!! I called nobody answer! Only answering machine! I called twice after that left a message, it’s been 3 days now nobody get back to me! What kind of yoga place is this!!! They suck! Just canceled mine! Geee!!!

I feel as humans, we are always searching for a sense of community where we feel comfortable and supported. We try different activities and places until we find the right fit. I have found a place where the people are genuine, kind, fun, and caring. The yoga instructors have all been very good and Alex the owner has created an atmosphere where you can get to know others in the class. On many occasions I have had people introduce themselves or ask me how I am doing. I am glad to have found such a great community and I recommend others to give it a try.
In terms of the studio itself, you can tell a lot of thought has been put into the décor and layout. I like the hand sensor faucets and changing area. Everything is super clean and nice. I get easily grossed out by dirty facilities– this place is always kept immaculately clean. The yoga area is the perfect size– not too big or small.

This studio is incredible. When I first moved to La Jolla I was looking for a new studio and luckily they had just opened. There is no other studio that is so welcoming and full of such good energy. It is very unique, not only because it is geared towards women in particular, but also because of its sense of community. I even got my boyfriend hooked on coming to all of the ‘all are welcome’ classes after taking him to his first Yin class!

This is just a lovely studio! I came here with a friend because she had a class pass and I decided to do a drop in. I must say. this studio is just beautifully done even if the entry way is teeny. We were greeted by Lauren and she was just so nice! I didn’t realize they had a January special of free unlimited yoga and I was ready to pay, but she happily informed me that about the special and I had a free class!.. a free month! Awesome!
The class itself was very lovely and relaxing. Lauren is a great instructor and very attentive to everyone in the class. Great positive vibes! I’m a beginner at yoga and so was my friend– she helped with modified poses without getting aggressive (unlike some bikram instructors I’ve encountered). We left very relaxed and quite limber– big difference from our first downward dog pose to the last downward dog. Amazing.

I have been going to Women’s Elite Yoga for four months now after my former yoga studio shut down. I immediately liked the relaxing and intimate feeling of this place, as well as the great expertise and warmth of Alex the owner and her many teachers. I very quickly signed up to become a regular member and have been enjoying both vigourous Level 3 classes as well as the the more relaxing Wen classes ever since. Even my husband has started coming once a week, as he can feel positive changes in his mind and body after the class. I highly recommend this studio to both beginner and advanced yogis!

I really enjoyed coming to this studio. Although its called Women’s Elite Yoga, my friend told me that this studio welcomes men for certain classes. I’m pretty new to yoga in that I have only been to a few different studios since I have been practicing.
Although hesitant at first because I had never taken a hot yoga class, as soon as I got to the studio all the fear went away. The ladies that were there were super nice and welcoming. There wasn’t a big crowd of people, which I prefer. I’ve been to studios with big groups of people and I either feel crammed or I feel intimidated. There were 5 or 6 women there to take the class, and 2 men (including myself). I felt very comfortable and there was plenty of room between me and the students to the sides of me.
Overall, the studio’s atmosphere was perfect and I felt great after my class. The instructor paid a lot of attention to detail and helped me get into postures that I didn’t think I could get into. I would definitely recommend this studio.

Im taking private classes, and I’ve never done yoga before the instructor so nice and helpful. I just love the studio its so clean and just perfect. The whole staff is very friendly, keep up the good work!!!

I am new to the yoga world and appreciated a free class of «restore» yoga that was offered. The facilities are beautiful and well thought out. I appreciated the simplicity and the beauty of the studio. Blocks, towels, and mats are available. Showers are available, so heading off to work is convenient. The owner and instructors are kind and knowledgable.
I would recommend taking classes here, for both the expert and the novice! Prices are very reasonable and you can get package deals and gift certificates.

This place is UH-​MAZING!!! I cannot say enough great things about WEY! From the ambiance, to the instructors and the entire staff-​WEY is THE new place to feel gorgeous from the inside out as a woman. The balanced atmosphere is fresh, serene and impeccably clean. I have gone to many different studios but this experience was fantastic from the moment I walked through the front door to when I walked out to leave. The owner, Alex, is the most hospitable and gorgeous woman with so much expertise and an international background not to be messed with! Her credibility in dance and yoga is a solid foundation for this business. I felt so welcomed and the entire experience got me so connected to my body and I felt like the most beautiful and confident woman in the universe. I am so excited to do all the other classes they have to offer and am looking forward to becoming an unlimited monthly member. There are many choices in a yoga studio but for me, this is the first one that really embodies the yoga practice and realigns my body and soul. I wish there was another star option I could add, but this is definitely 5 STARS! See you there!
