As a business-​to-​business design showroom, a knowledgeable and ultra-​responsive IT support service is a must; which is usually the case for almost every small and mid-​size company. Expedient communication & information processing with our clients & vendors is critical to our success. And we all know the angst when communication is interrupted, workflow comes to a screeching halt, and IT support is slow to respond. But not anymore, not since we found Direct Tech; I think we must be in an «angst-​free zone!»
We have been working with Direct Tech and utilizing their Business IT Support Program for the last few years. And, without hesitation, I can say that we are unequivocally satisfied with their highly professional services, responsiveness, IT acumen, and downright pleasant personalities. They listen, research, advise and follow through better than any internal or external IT group that I have worked with; and there have been a variety of these throughout my career.
That said, and without reservation, I highly recommend Direct Tech!

Direct Tech is a stellar operation ! I had requested Gabriel Nava to breakdown my entire system in our former home and install same in new home. As usual, Direct Tech accommodated me and sent my favorite technician. Gabriel was fast, efficient, and set me up without the bizillion cords and cables looking like spaghetti ! He is a perfectionist and I have been the beneficiary of this several times. He gave me time to check that my 3 most important systems were running correctly. Of course they were becomes Gabe had installed me !!
He is patient and professional and a real pleasure to deal with. The only way I can think of for Direct Tech to improve would be to clone Gabriel Nava !!

Direct Tech in La Jolla rescued us by repairing our older Windows XP computer a couple times in recent years; and got us back online in less than twenty-​four hours. Thus, when we finally realized, like many Windows XP users, that we needed to upgrade to Windows Ten, we contacted Direct Tech. Their highly efficient technician Gabriel transferred all of our files, including those from Outlook Express to Outlook, then instructed us how to do this and that on our new computer. Shayne Gilder, the owner, has hired very smart computer experts at Direct Tech. We heartily recommend them for any computer needs.

Even though I always try to fix problems myself, I know I can always take my equipment to them when I’m puzzled. I learn so much from them & benefit from their expertise.

I was never given a quote to how much it could cost for my computer repair. In there own words: «every customer should know how many hours it will take to repair and you should already know how much it’s going to cost you.» At least inform customers of your rates before working. They are very rude and condescending. They do not care about their customers.

Words cannot say how much I appreciate this company. A number of times I’ve been in a tight spot with computer problems and every time they are solved. I’m just glad to have a company like this available.

I had to get on and write a review after what happened yesterday! Direct Tech saved my VERY expensive computer (I do tons of graphics and could have lost everything).
So I was chipping away at some design work that I had not transferred to my cloud so it was still on my desktop, next thing I knew an odd message came in and unfortunately I clicked on the link because I wasn’t paying attention to what I was doing… I don’t need to explain what happened next. I thought I lost everything…
My friend told me about Shayne and his business wasn’t that far from me… which didn’t really matter because he remotely logged into my system while I was on the phone with him to take a look… and took over (coolest thing I’ve ever experienced).
I was freaking out a bit because my whole life was on that computer… Every client file every design… Everything! Shayne kept me calm which is never an easy thing to do… He assured me that my information was not lost and that all my data could be restored by his team.
Shayne the owner of Direct Tech told me not to worry. He let me know that his techs would get me up and running and have me back in business quickly. Of course I approved the data recovery work due to the level of confidence, knowledge and skills I could tell he had just by talking to him.
Well his techs got me back up and it saved me from having to worry about having to rebuild everything I just finished.
My technology, computers and other devices are an integral part of my life and I could not have afforded lost time or work as it would have really set me back in my business.
I trusted Direct Tech from the first conversation not only because they came highly recommended… But you could tell they knew what they were talking about.
Thank you for helping me! I would have be affected greatly if they had not restored my data.
