History

Established in 2005.

Paradise Found Real Estate Consultants was founded in July 2005. After 13 years in the Radio Mass Media business, I wanted to do something that actually made a real positive impact on peoples lives.

Investing in a home is probably the largest investment most people ever make in the entire lives. It gives me great pleasure and appreciation to actully meet someone I have never met before in my life and they come to me and ask me to help them find thier dream home. After going through the interview process, I then get to work for them and do the investigation and research to find what my cleints want and need in a home. In San Diego, lifestyle plays a large role in finding my clients thier new home. The best part is when they write the raving reviews about me and my professional business approach.

Carlos Gutierrez is full-​time real estate consultant specializing in the local beach areas of San Diego. A native San Diegan, and resident of Mission Beach, Carlos is very well known for his portrayal of San Diego State University’s Monty Montezuma (and later Aztec Warrior) for over 13 years. Carlos has an extensive background in marketing, media and public relations. Carlos’s extensive network of professional and personal contacts enables Paradise Found to to reach the resources of hundreds of real estate professionals including agents, affiliates, title representatives, escrow officers, lenders and brokers.

In his free time Carlos is an active volunteer, fund raiser and event participant for theChallenged Athletes Foundation (CAF).

Carlos is very rude and inconsiderate of others. He needs to stop calling and trying to sell our house. If was little nicer then maybe I would consider him but he wants all your personal information and calls at all times a day and doesn’t leave a message. Terrible realtor. NEVER WORK WITH HIM. I will be calling Berkshire Hathaway to report him.

I’VE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. I thought they had good reviews so I inquired about bringing my business there. The lady was so rude. Why does it matter the reasoning behind my choosing a real estate company? I can go shop around if I wish… I never write reviews but she just got me so upset that I needed to make a Unilocal account and warn others about her.
Berkshire is losing business because of that lady. If she had the decency to say her name when picking up the phone call, I would definitely tell her manager.

I Would have to say after working with a good amount of Realtors in San Diego that Carlos is actually bar far one of the finest this County has to offer. After working with him on several occasions it’s evident he sincerely cares about his customers and shows this by the amount of work he puts in for each transaction. He simply has what it takes to get things done. He is a very positive person and it’s that Tony Robbins attitude that flows into everything he touches and makes a lasting impression. He seems to always be on top of things and that’s what’s most important to me.

This dude can not be a very good agent because he is so desperate for clients he calls daily asking if he can sell my house. I have let him know I am not interested in working with him and he still calls daily. Not only is he desperate, he’s inconsiderate. He calls at ridiculously early hours and calls several times in a row. Every agent I have hired I have found by word of mouth. This guy is so desperate and pushy, I can’t imagine he is having many clients refer him or use him again. He has no class and no suavity. Find someone else.

While I do not know the particulars of Sandy’s situation, I am sure that she (he?) could have used Carlos’s considerable marketing skills. Carlos uses a wide variety of marketing tools to get the sale done. He’s personable and he’s passionate about what he does. He’s also well connected in the community, so he has a deep bench of potential buyers and sellers that he can turn to for inventory.
If you need a buyers agent or you’re looking to list your home for sale, Carlos should be on your short list of agents to call.

When we took our house off the market, like many other realtors, Mr. Gutierrez called me daily asking me when I planned to look for the ‘right’ agent to do the job. I told him I was offended and offended for my agent at his comment and that we were not looking to re-​list at the time, and I had no interest in continuing the conversation. Mr. Gutierrez insisted on getting personal information as to where we were looking to relocate, why didn’t the house, sell, etc. I refused to answer these questions and due to his evading ending the call, ultimately did the ‘thank you for your interest’ comment and hung up on him. Very next day at 8:00am, he called again, I reminded him he had called the day before and we weren’t interested in talking with him, and to please stop calling. «Oh! Something must have happened! Why didn’t the house sell?» I reminded him curtly that I wasn’t going to go into this discussion and I didn’t want any more calls, please! His response was to ask where we planned to relocate. So, I sternly informed him that our personal life was no business of his. When he persisted to ask why, I told him he was pissing me off and to stop calling me. I think he started to back pedal an maybe apologize, but he crossed the line too many times.
He may be a decent realtor, but his pushiness to gain clients is beyond reproach and is the reason behind this post.

Both my wife Tina and myself had a thoroughly marvelous experience working with Carlos and his team in April and May of 2011. After a painstaking tour of no less than 25 – 30 homes in the La Jolla area, we identified two homes that met our criteria. The negotiations on the first home, located at 2468 Rue Denise, were very problematic in that the seller seemed reluctant to engage us in active negotiations. Carlos exhibited patience and professionalism in all cases.
We ultimately lost interest in Rue Denise but asked Carlos to give us a second look at a home at 423 Westbourne Street. He provided an immediate Youtube video of the home which rekindled our interest in this home. We entered into active negotiations with the then current owners. Our experience in these negotiations was very upbeat and positive and, with Carlos’ advice and counsel, we succeeded in getting a ratified contract very quickly. He and his team’s follow up during all the subsequent paperwork and home inspection process were excellent. We will be very pleased to be an ongoing reference for Carlos and are confident he will be one of the top realtors in the San Diego/​La Jolla area in the not too distant future. Carlos was an excellent real estate professional to have on my side when purchasing a 4 unit property he had listed in Pacific Beach. He maintained control of the reigns throughout our speedy transaction and got the job done. Carlos has an incredible work ethic and sent me on & off market deals to glance at almost daily for over a year until the right property had my name on it. Carlos Gutierrez and his team at Paradise Found with Prudential California Realty in La Jolla did an outstanding job selling my home in record time. During this economy, and in January when homes don’t usually sell, he was able to sell my home in less than 2 weeks with multiple offers and for the price I wanted. I was thrilled!
What made the difference was how he marketed the property. While other realtors merely list homes, buy ads and hold open houses, Carlos uses those traditional tools and goes beyond that by tapping his extensive high-​end network and personally informing each and every person he knows that your home is on the market. He asks his network to help spread the word so that you get maximum exposure. I was amazed at how much time Carlos spent in my neighborhood going door to door, talking to each of my neighbors, telling them my house was on the market and asking them to tell their friends and invite them to the open houses. He gets involved and works it!
I firmly believe this level of attention to marketing truly made the difference in my house selling as quickly as it did.
I know people who listed their homes with other Realtors several months ago and still haven’t been able to sell them, while I listed, sold, moved and settled into a new home close to the beach and am living the new life I dreamed of in a fraction of the same time! I can’t imagine going through the hassle of months and months of open houses, keeping my home in pristine condition for showing after showing and all that stress wondering if my house is ever going to sell, or if I’m going to even come close getting the sale price I want.
